Do you do this kind of thing all the time? Chill at a bar 'til you find some creep to decapitate?

Jeffery William Hayes
I can change, I can change, But I'm here in my mold. I am here in my mold, But I'm a million different people from one day to the next.
Full Name: Jeffery Hayes Nicknames: Jeff, Pretty Boy (Though he doesn’t like that one) Aliases: Several, depending on what suits his needs. Physical Age: 34 Date of Birth: November 30, 1974 Character Type: Civilian, with knowledge of a few fields. Occupation: Police Officer Marital/Relationship Status: Single/Playing the Field Hometown: Boston, Massachusetts Current Residence: Nomadic Affiliations: Neutral: The enemy of his enemy is his friend, and he’ll go with the highest bidder, no matter what their side.
Gender: Male Height: 6’0” Weight: 150-160 lbs Body Type: Athletic Eyes: Blue-Green Hair: Sandy blonde and is usually kept fairly short and spiky. Sometimes it has more highlights than others, if he’s been out in the sun a lot. He doesn’t typically do much with it other than roll out of bed and run his hand through it. He normally has a scruffy goatee, but will sometimes shave it. Sexuality: Straight. Personal Style: He has a standard Boston Police Department uniform (which consists of a long-sleeved dark blue shirt, black tie, and black slacks. Sometimes a dark blue sweatshirt or jacket is also a part of the uniform). Off duty, he wears jeans, t-shirts, and sweatshirts. He has a few leather jackets and a few pairs of sneakers. When under cover, he can be seen wearing anything he sees fit for the role he’s playing. Unique Features: Tattoos: A tribal snake on his left bicep and a Celtic cross on his chest. Scars: He has several scars from various injuries, but the most notable is a scar near his right clavicle from a bullet wound. The scar is duplicated on his back near his shoulder blade. Best Feature: His eyes. Worst Feature: His babyface. Face Claim: Leonardo DiCaprio
Powers: He has more knowledge of the supernatural than most civilians, but he still isn’t completely in the know. He’s seen enough weird crime scenes to know he’s dealing with more than a normal human being or an animal in some cases. For example, he’d be able to identify a devil’s trap, but wouldn’t know exactly what it was used for. He’d link leavings of sulfur to something supernatural, but not necessarily a demon, etc. He has encountered vampires and werewolves, and figured out that beheading kills them both. But, he’s not sure exactly what they were – only that they weren’t normal humans or animals. Other: Extensive combat training (hand-to-hand and firearms); he’s also picked up a lot of tricks from undercover jobs and doing time in prison. He fights dirty and he may not look like much, but he knows what he’s doing. He can usually figure out how to use just about anything as a weapon. He’s resourceful and thinks quickly on his feet. He’s become a very good actor and learned to be a very good liar. He can read a social situation and usually figure out how to manipulate people. He can fool a lie detector test if he has to, though usually it just comes out inconclusive, which isn’t necessarily helpful. He’s a well-trained detective and has a keen eye for details. He keeps himself in good physical shape; he can understand a lot of Spanish, though he can’t always speak it back; he’s a good cook, though he doesn’t do it much.
Personality: Jeff is a bit of a loner. Even when he manages to make close friends, he usually can’t keep them long. His whole life, he’s always been picked on and underestimated, which was a big reason for why he became a cop. Even then, he found that he always had to prove himself and people rarely took him seriously. Therefore, he’s adopted a very tough exterior that’s extremely difficult to get around. He’s got a bit of a gruff, abrasive personality that sometimes gets him into trouble, and always pushes people away.
However, Jeff does have a softer side, though others rarely see it. He loves animals and children, and he respects women. He’s not usually one to get tied down in relationships, though it’s happened once or twice. For the most part, he’s a bit of a player. He doesn’t normally flirt and put himself out there, but if a woman takes the initiative, he’ll usually see what comes of it.
Jeff spends a lot of his time in undercover assignments and usually takes on a different persona until the assignment’s over.

Mother: Jeanine Hayes Father: Rodney Hayes Siblings: an older brother, Brian, and a younger sister, Isabelle. Others: a slew of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Brief History:
Jeffery William Hayes was born on November 30, 1974 to Jeanine and Rodney Hayes in Boston, Massachusetts. He was raised in the city of Boston and had a rough childhood. His father was a firefighter and his mother was a nurse. They both worked long hours and he was often left in the care of his older brother, who was a heavy drug user and often left Jeff and his sister alone. He had to learn to take care of himself young, and he was often bullied as a kid.
In school, Jeff did well enough to get by. Although he was smart enough to understand the material, he had no interest in school. He didn’t start applying himself until he entered high school and thought about pursuing higher education. During his sophomore year, he decided he wanted to be a cop, seeing all the crime going on in his neighborhood, and seeing his brother slip further into a life of crime. He graduated in 1992 and enrolled in the police academy.
To the surprise of his family and friends, Jeff passed his exams with flying colors. Over the next few years, he steadily built his career and reputation. For the bulk of his career, he worked in the Justice Department. In 2007, he was put under investigation by Internal Affairs due to accusations that he’d tampered with evidence, used unnecessary force with more than one suspect, among other things. He was convicted of one count of assault and battery and served eighteen months in prison. According to witnesses and paperwork filed, Jeff was discharged from the police department.
In reality, he was actually transferred to an undercover department and upon his release from prison, he was given his first undercover assignment. As far as anyone knows, he is no longer a cop.
Notable Experiences: He was shot in the right shoulder when on one of his first domestic disturbance calls. Over the course of his career, he’s encountered and learned how to kill a werewolf and two vampires. He has also encountered a few demons, though he did not know what they were and didn’t figure out how to dispel them.
Role Play Sample:
The bar smelled like must and beer. That wasn’t too unusual, and didn’t bother Jeff much. But he took note of it as he threw back a shot of whiskey. It burned his throat and he winced slightly, then motioned for the bartender to pour him another.
He sat hunched over his drink with his elbows resting on the bar. It was funny how he’d never been to this place before, yet somehow he felt like he’d been here a million times. All bars were the same, weren’t they? The same type of people, the same music, the same smells.
I guess if you’ve seen one bar you’ve seen them all, he thought, tossing back his shot.
Before he could motion to the bartender, a man sat down beside him and placed a few bills on the bar.
“Another shot of whiskey for this guy,”the newcomer said.
The bartender nodded and Jeff studied the man. He was in his forties, maybe fifties. Tall and lanky with thin lips and big eyes. He was very awkward-looking, but judging by his clothing his bank balance made up for that. He smiled at Jeff as the bartender set the whiskey down.
“Hey, kid. You look like you’ve had a rough night.”
Jeff looked at the glass of whiskey hesitantly, then smirked at the man.
“Look, man, I don’t know what you heard, but if you’re lookin’ for a date you got the wrong guy.” Jeff took a small sip of his shot, as if testing it.
The man laughed.
“Oh, no. I’m quite aware of which team you bat for, Jeffie boy. Even though you’re not.”
Jeff gave the man a puzzled look.
“The hell’s that supposed to mean?”
The man smiled.“It’s called subtext, Jeffery. You might want to take another look at your eighth grade English text book to refresh yourself.”
Jeff turned to face the man, sitting up straight. “Do I know you? Or are you just stalking me or some shit?”
“I read the paper, Jeffery. You’ve been all over it. Tough break, getting thrown under the bus by your own kind.”
Jeff sighed and stood up. “Whatever, guy. Take your creepy pick-up lines someplace else.”
He nodded to the bartender and started to walk away.
“I have a business proposition for you,”the man said.“If you’re interested, that is.”
Jeff stopped and turned back around.
“What makes you think I need your business?”
The man shrugged.“A dirty cop fresh out of prison in this economy? I did the math. The job pays well, I assure you.”
Jeff gave him a hard stare. This had ‘shady’ written all over it. Then again, shady was always what he happened to fall into.
The younger Winchester brother, but also the more adorable one. He ALWAYS has to save Dean's ass. Its also become known that vanilla Sam is anything but and could give his older brother a run for his money. Hmm.. Guess what they say about the quiet ones is true! member is offline
