As a holy war breaks out, Dean and Sam Winchester journey to New Orleans in search of answers. What they find will change their lives forever and set them on a new path. The fate of the world rests in their hands but new friendships and ties will be formed as they search for a way to bring peace to earth. Legend has come to light regarding a certain signet ring that may hold the key to ending the Apocalypse and send the legions of hell back to the pit. Ancient lore has it that God gifted King Solomon with a seal that had the power to command demons and gjinns and gave the bearer the ability to talk with the beasts of the field. After the great king’s death, the seal was lost and lies hidden somewhere on earth. Only someone of pure intent can retrieve it from its hidden spot but anyone can wield it. The race is on for good and evil alike to find the ring and it’s a dirty competition. Demons and Angels both watch for signs of the rings presence and they will stop at nothing to make sure the ring is either destroyed or given into appropriate hands. What will you do? Quest for the power of the ring or toil in an effort to save the world? Temptation is the devil’s greatest tool and power is always seductive. One ring has the power to divide and conquer or unite the masses for salvation.

“”Dean possesses excellent combat and hunting prowess; comprehensively trained by his father from early childhood as a paranormal investigator and hunter of the supernatural, he is established throughout the series as an extremely dangerous individual, and he is more than capable of taking a stand against even the most formidable of opponents, such as demons and vampires.

Dean is well-versed with multiple types of firearms; he prefers his Colt 1911 and sawed-off shotgun, but is proficient with most other weapons he might acquire. An expert marksman, he seldom misses his intended target and can efficiently put down anything vulnerable to bullets.

Dean is adept with martial arts and knife fighting as well; he has subdued several human assailants with ease in multiple episodes and bested physically more powerful creatures, often unarmed or equipped with only a blade. In "Nightshifter", he killed a shapeshifter armed with a simple silver letter opener. In "Fresh Blood," he managed to subdue a vampire long enough to inject her with a shot of 'dead man's blood.' In "The Magnificent Seven", he fought and held off several demons by himself, armed only with a flask of holy water.

Dean is also a proficient tracker and possesses prudent tactical skills and an instinctive ability to 'read' behavioral characteristics and manipulate people. Highly resourceful, he frequently utilizes improvised weapons and explosive devices; in "Croatoan," he demonstrated knowledge in chemistry, constructing Molotov cocktails and improvised explosive devices, and in "Phantom Traveler", he revealed knowledge of electronics and reverse engineering, having built an electromagnetic field detector from an old Walkman radio.

Dean also possesses extensive knowledge of the supernatural and mythology. He is versed with how police, fire departments and various government agencies (FBI, CDC) typically operate and conduct investigations, and knows how to both impersonate and evade them effectively. An accomplished mechanic, he maintains his Impala in tip top condition and has maintained an intimate knowledge of automobiles and engines since childhood.

Dean is a virtuoso of escape, evasion and silent movement, when the situation requires subtlety and stealth. Lastly, he is also alarmingly skillful in many areas frowned upon by the law: lock picking, breaking into security systems (not so much computers, which often falls to Sam), car jacking and gaining an 'advantageous purchase' comes naturally to him.

Personality:
Dean is typically a ruthless and aggressive when he is hunting, a task which he approaches euphorically. He passionately despises what he hunts, especially demons, and is prepared to kill without question more often than not, unlike his brother. However, despite these traits, Dean is very laid-back and well-disposed when not on the hunt, and he values the safety of his family and innocent civilians above all else, even his own life. Though on occasion he can be somewhat impulsive and/or arrogant, Dean is both extremely intelligent and competent, and the most situations in which he exhibits irrational behavior is when his family is threatened.
Dean enjoys the uncomplicated things in life, such as good food and television. He almost constantly displays some level of humorous behavior, and frequently makes light of tense situations, often making inappropriate jokes or using sexual innuendo. He sometimes appears foolish due to this habit, but it has been entailed that this is merely his means of dealing with the stress of hunting.
Dean attempts to be something of a womanizer, but has been in love with at least one woman. He has the capacity to become close with a woman, however, and it has been suggested on occasion throughout the series that this is what Dean truly desires, a normal life, with a wife, children and a regular job.
After he was extracted from Hell by Castiel, Dean began to exhibit noticeable anxiety and experience chronic, abominable nightmares of his experience there, apparently every time he closes his eyes. He also seemed to have some form of flashback after seeing a collection of masks in the episode "It's the Great Pumpkin, Sam Winchester." He at first denied remembering anything of his time in Hell, but eventually he confessed to Sam that he did in fact remember every detail, but rejected any discussion about it, either not wishing to burden his brother with his pain or not wanting to live over the details of the "indescribable things" he saw. It is later revealed he not only saw terrible things, but (in Hell time) in hell for around forty years. However, he also states, despite his strength to last thirty years without torturing other souls so as to escape the torment himself, he finally broke down and tortured for ten years. Dean's experience in Hell left a profound mark on him. He exhibits extreme grief and guilt, both for his actions and for the fact that he eventually gave in. Due to this, he believes he was unworthy of rescue. He has also explained to his brother that he wishes he couldn't feel anything, as the sorrow he feels is so overwhelming. He has also become obsessed with saving people, almost not sleeping in order to save as many as he can. In the episode "Family Remains", however, Dean states it is not just the fact he tortured, but the fact he enjoyed it which causes his guilt and shame, relishing the opportunity to put his pain on other unfortunate souls. It was this act, of a righteous man turning on others that broke the first seal.
Another side of Dean shown recently is his utter disgust at Sam for his actions such as blood drinking, possibly because he is scared of Sam becoming a demon like the ones he saw in Hell. However, almost immediately after some threatening and cajoling by Bobby, Dean realizes the error in his ways and, although remaining angry at Sam, he vows to save his brother.**

Brief History:
Dean Winchester was born on January 24th, 1979 and is the son of John and Mary Winchester and the older brother of Sam. On November 2, 1983 his mother was killed by a demon, engulfing her in flames on the ceiling. As soon as he was old enough to hold a gun, John began training Dean to hunt the things that go bump in the night, in hopes of someday finding and killing the demon who killed his mother. His father later disappeared and Dean went to find his brother Sam, or Sammy as he likes to call him, in hopes of teaming up with him. After Sam's girlfriend was killed by the same demon who murdered their mother Dean and Sam travel together hunting all supernatural evil. In 2007, Sam died and Dean sold his soul to give Sam his life back. In return Dean is given only one year to live before he will be summoned to hell.

Dean was later resurrected, after spending a little over 4 months in Hell(which feels like 40 years). He soon learns that he was pulled out by an angel named Castiel, because they have work for him to do. So far the 4th season has been about Dean discovering what his purpose is and also what Sam has done well he was in Hell.***

Role Play Sample:

Dean looked at the truck for another few seconds before he realized why the stylized lightning bolt looked so familiar. It was the same emblem that had been embroidered on the woman's shirt last night.

The woman that had helped him out with the three vampires that had attacked him last night. Not that he had needed the help, but it was nice of her to attempt it. To bad she hadn't stuck around to get thanked, or even give her name. She'd been pretty enough that Dean wouldn't have objected to spending some time with her.

Walking into the Restaurant Dean glanced around finding what he was looking for: the mystery woman. She looked up as he slid into the booth with her. Asking in a confused voice “Excuse Me?”

“Hi, you left before I could Thank you for your help last night. So how about I buy you Breakfast instead.” Dean smiled with self-assurance.

He didn't get the response he was expecting instead of a friendly smile she asked him in a abrupt tone “Excuse Me?”

“Name's Dean. And if you hadn't distracted that third guy last night, I might have been in a little trouble.” he thought it was best to let her think that he was grateful for her help. Might get him a few points on the friendlier scale.

The woman didn't have the friendly look he was hoping for in fact she now looked a bit shocked. “You got the wrong girl mister...” She snorted out in amused rejection. “I've been driving for the last 12 hours and haven't been any where near a Bar lately so Thanks for the offer of breakfast, but I'll have to decline.”

'Bar? What Bar was she talking about? And he knew she couldn't have been driving around town for 12 hours, the place wasn't that big. “No, it was you.” He smirked with confidence, letting her know he wasn't falling for her evasion tactics. “You have the same lighting bolt on your truck outside as you had on your shirt last night. I wouldn't forget it, I've never seen one like it before.”

The woman almost snapped her spine as she leaned away from the table in surprise. Then a look of …. what was it... Semi-horror maybe? ... came over her face and she groaned softly.

Just as suddenly her face cleared and she gave him a dazzling smile and lied to his face. “I have no idea what you are talking about. I don't have a shirt with that emblem on it. You must be mistaken or have a pretty lame pick up line. Now unless you want me to have the waitress throw you out. Go Away!”

Dean wanted to push the issue. He knew she was lieing and wasn't happy about it. What was she hiding? But he would have to wait to find out she looked stubborn enough to make more trouble than he could deal with right now. So he would retreat for now. But keep an eye on her. “Alright I'll go, but unless you have a twin, it was you last night.”

Was that a flinch he saw as he left the table? And the flush raising in her cheeks was proof enough that he had hit some mark. Maybe she did have a twin. If so why didn't she just say that and send him on his way instead of trying to cover something up?
