As a holy war breaks out, Dean and Sam Winchester journey to New Orleans in search of answers. What they find will change their lives forever and set them on a new path. The fate of the world rests in their hands but new friendships and ties will be formed as they search for a way to bring peace to earth. Legend has come to light regarding a certain signet ring that may hold the key to ending the Apocalypse and send the legions of hell back to the pit. Ancient lore has it that God gifted King Solomon with a seal that had the power to command demons and gjinns and gave the bearer the ability to talk with the beasts of the field. After the great king’s death, the seal was lost and lies hidden somewhere on earth. Only someone of pure intent can retrieve it from its hidden spot but anyone can wield it. The race is on for good and evil alike to find the ring and it’s a dirty competition. Demons and Angels both watch for signs of the rings presence and they will stop at nothing to make sure the ring is either destroyed or given into appropriate hands. What will you do? Quest for the power of the ring or toil in an effort to save the world? Temptation is the devil’s greatest tool and power is always seductive. One ring has the power to divide and conquer or unite the masses for salvation.

Wake me up, I'm living a nightmare

[Personality:] Ryan is a deeply caring person, though because of his usual demeanor, you'd probably never know. He's very emotionally withdrawn, and likes to keep to himself, if only to focus on getting the job done properly. He has a light sense of humor though, and is always one to try and cheer up a grim situation. He's loyal to the core, and is self-sacrificing when it comes to being there for others and doing what needs to be done to help them and protect them. Just don't piss him off, cause he's the last person in the world that you want to see angry.

[Brief History:]
Ryan was born in Miami, Florida, on June 7, 1982, to Janice and Stefan Moretti. He grew up in the town like a normal kid, went to school, and eventually graduated. Instead of staying in Miami however, Ryan went along with the family tradition and joined the Marines. Right after graduation, Ryan said his goodbyes to his parents and his younger brother, Jasper, and was shipped away to began his tour overseas.

He spent years in the military, gaining experience, and a few months after turning twenty-five, he was finally accepted into the Special Forces squadron of the Marines, known as the Delta Force. After several months of base training, he was sent on a routine training expedition, which he easily passed. Everything seemed to be going good for him. He excelled in the military, and made a reputation for being "one of the best of the best".

Little did he know, that everything would soon come crashing down.

One day, out of the blue, he started to have weird dreams, about things that possibly couldn't be real. There were monsters he saw, and people who were...inhuman. Men and women that presided over massacres of innocent, who had strange colored eyes...

All of it disturbed Ryan, but he didn't say a word to anyone. How could he? Who would believe him? If all of a sudden he started spouting off talk about the monsters he saw, he'd be locked up, and sent to the loony bin. So he kept quiet about everything...that is, until one vision shocked him out of silence.

This one came to him in waking, which was a first. One minute he'd been standing in his barrack, pulling his shirt over his head, and then the next, he was halfway across the world. From what he could see, he was in the middle of some kind of firefight, in a war zone of sorts. As soon as he saw this, he went to dodge for cover, only to realize that all of the bullets passed right through him. He wasn't really there or anything, but rather some sort of invisible spectator who's only presence was witness something.

Just then, he saw him; his brother...Jasper.

Ryan knew that like him, Jasper had continued the family tradition, and joined the military. He also knew that Jasper was stationed somewhere in the Middle East, on some sort of protective detail. He didn't think it was a dangerous assignment of any kind, but if what he was seeing was true, then the grim sense of foreboding he felt was a sure sign of what was to come.

He saw Jasper signal his comrades to follow him to safety, and when one of them made a break for him, a stray bullet struck him in the thigh. The next thing he knew, Jasper noticed it, and made a break for his fallen comrade, trying to help him up. Ryan saw another bullet whiz through the air, and strike Jasper in the chest, piercing through his armor. The minute he saw it, he knew Jasper was a dead man. Those kinds of shots were fatal, that much Ryan knew after years of combat.

It was only then though that Ryan noticed it, some kind of light off to the side of the firefight. It was bright, and blinding, merely hovering there, as if it too was watching the series of events unfold. And just as Jasper was shot, the light crossed over the battlefield, and drew closer to him. Ryan could of sworn his heard the sound of wings as the light moved, but he pushed the thought out of his mind, and focused instead on the situation.

The light hovered around Jasper, who's breaths were now coming in ragged gasps. Ryan heard some sort of eerie whispering come from the light, though he wasn't able to discern what was being said. The only intelligible thing he heard was Jasper lone, simple reply. "Yes." Then the light faded from Jasper's eyes, and a last breath flew from his lips.

The light reacted, and enveloped Jasper, blinding Ryan. He dove forward, trying to see what happened, but suddenly he felt as if something were pulling him back, trying to take him away. The last thing he saw as everything faded was the light diminish, and Jasper standing in the middle of the battlefield now, the dark shadow of immense wings hanging in the air behind his back.

As soon as it had began, it was over. Ryan was back in his barrack, leaning against his edge of his bed. His shirt was still firmly grasped in his hand, and his breaths came in frantic, fearful gasps. The vision had shaken him to the core, and torn through his heart.

That night, he called Jasper, just to make sure he was okay. He got through fine, and spoke with his brother. Hearing his voice quelled most of his fears, though Ryan was careful to warn Jasper, albeit a bit cryptically. He couldn't exactly tell him that he'd had some sort of "vision" in which he;d witnessed him dying. Jasper promised to stay safe, if only probably because of how worried Ryan sounded. It wasn't like Ryan to be that concerned, so he knew that if anything, his demeanor might warn Jasper that something was wrong.

After speaking with his brother, Ryan put the thought out of his head, and forgot about all the it. That is, until the memory it it came to haunt him soon after.

Only a few days later, Ryan's superiors informed him of some sort of incident involving Jasper. They told that according to the rest of Jasper's squad, they'd seen Jasper get shot, fatally, while trying to rescue another soldier who had been injured. His body had disappeared though, so nothing had been confirmed. But Ryan knew in his heart what had happened. The thought of it was only confirmed when Ryan learned about the fate of the soldier Jasper had tried to save, how he'd sustained a simple gunshot wound to the thigh, but would survive.

Ryan felt haunted by the fact that he'd known what was about to happen, and had been powerless to stop it. The next day, he turned in his resignation, and was honorably discharged soon after. He returned back the States, and swore to himself that he would find out the truth, both about what happened to Jasper, and what was happening to him.

[Role Play Sample:]
From a Twilight site:
With slow, steady steps, Artemis's bare feet slid across the dirt silently, her presence unnoticeable. In the darkness she looked like a ghostly specter, like a Goddess made physical. Her chestnut air was loose and wild, swaying lithely in the wild wind. The black dress she wore was casual, extending to barely above her knees, its thick straps tied loosely behind the nape of her neck. And even in the darkness, she knew her eyes were shining, their eerie crimson haze a clear sign of what she was.

The thirst burned in her throat, but wasn't uncomfortable. She was long used to the sensation, to resisting it, though it wasn't something she normally did. Hence she was here right now, stalking her prey from within the cover of night. It was a lone hiker, a man already past the prime of his life. His scent was rough, and musky; from what she could tell, he'd been lost in the forests for a few days already. She could hear the fluttering of his heart, the ragged sounds of his breaths, and automatically knew that for all intensive purposes, the man was dying. Despite her immunity, she knew the air was frigid, and that after days, the man had no chance of survival.

It took only a few gracefully steps, and Artemis appeared before the hiker, crossing the vast distance between them as if it were nothing. He noticed her immediately, his eyes going wide. The smell of fear reeked off his body, mixing alluringly with his already tantalizing scent. She could see the resignation in his eyes; somehow he knew she would be his death, whether she was real, or just some final hallucination sent to plague him. The thought made her smile.

"Don't worry." Her smooth and sultry voice held a hint of a Greek accent within it, but it assured him nonetheless, breaking easily through the howling of the frigid wind. "It'll all be over soon."

The look of fear slowly faded from his expression, as the man closed his eyes, and let his features relax. Artemis could see his memories within her own mind, thanks to her unique ability, and through them, saw his potential. If she'd found him a decade or so earlier, she might have turned him instead of killing him. He showed promise, the promise of adapting well to vampire life, and becoming a faithful protege in her tirade against the Volturi. But at his current age, that promise had faded. Now his only purpose was to nourish her, and keep her strong.

With a sly grin, and an amused giggle, Artemis dove forward, and consumed him.
