SamSam smiled and tucked the papers into the inside pocket of his jacket. "Thanks again guys. This is an amazing gift." He put his arm around Sammie's shoulders and nodded in agreement with Jo. "Yeah, cake sounds good." With a sigh Sam bent down and kissed Sammie again. He couldn't seem to help himself. "I guess we should head over that way. Since they can't do it without us." Sam gave a little smirk at the others then started to head over toward the table with the cake. Guiding Sammie along with him.

Well, there really was something to say about a holiday wedding and love in the air. Lexi felt blessed to be in the position to help the newlyweds out and as they all adjourned for cake, she went to her own husband and curled herself into his side. As his arm came around her, she snuggled close and sighed. It was hard to believe at times that they'd been married for a year next week and had a beautiful baby boy to show for it.
As Sam and Sammie moved to the cake, the blond glanced over to see Dean with his arm wrapped around Jessie and a soft smile spread over her face at the scene that seemed to enfolding. For all that they'd each declared that they wouldn't settle down or ever have normal lives, it seemed that they were all growing up. Jo and Curse had twins, Sam and Sammie were expecting their first child, Trey and Shane had Jazz, and she and Max had their own family. Now, if the look in Dean's eye was anything to judge by, even the die hard playboy had met his match in the brunette huntress by his side.
For once, everything seemed right in the world. At least for the evening.
Looking up at Max, Lexi smiled and whispered.
"Have I told you lately how much I love you?"
At his smile, she stood on her tiptoes and placed a kiss on his lips before turning her attention back to the happy couple of the moment.

You are the strength, that keeps me walking. You are the hope, that keeps me trusting. You are the light to my soul. You are my purpose...you're everything. How can I stand here with you and not be moved by you? Would you tell me how could it be any better than this? Beaming joyfully, Sammie allowed Sam to lead her towards the cake table. It was so hard to believe all this was happening but the solid presence of her new husband at her side gave her faith that it truly was. Suddenly, she knew what all those old fairy tales were about as she looked up into his deep brown eyes and felt a new faith in the world that hadn't been there before. A new purpose just for being.
There was nothing she wouldn't do for this man and no mountain she wouldn't climb. No battle she wouldn't wage or deed she wouldn't do. He was, truly, the part that completed her soul. A part she hadn't even known was missing until that fateful afternoon when she'd had the luck of losing her keys.
Letting that love shine through in her eyes, Sammie smiled up at the dark haired giant at her side and then took up the knife that was laid beside the cake. Her eyes twinkled with mischief as she offered it to him and grinned.
"Shall we, Mr. Winchester?"
