Bobby grinned as the woman he had only seen a hint of earlier approached the table, asking for their choice. Waiting for Erik's reaction he was thrown by her reaction to Max. She had taken one look at the man and frozen for a moment. 'Lexi would kill her if this woman tried hitting on her husband.' Bobby thought and threw a look at Erik wondering if he would now shift his interest.
The older hunter had to give Max a silent salute, as the young hunter ignored the girls obvious reaction to him. 'Lexi has a good man here.' Bobby admitted to himself with an impressed thought.
When Erik said that refreshments would be welcome and she turned to get his order, Bobby waved her off he didn't need another one right now. “Maybe later.”

((Warren ended cut-off from everyone, so I'm taking him away from this thread))
Suddenly all the sounds of the club started to overwhelm Warren and his darker side resurged stronger than before in its claim for death. He had been hoping to drown such urge with semi-lethal quantities of alcohol but all it did was to arouse it even further.
Moving away from the bar, he pushed all those that dared to stand in his path. He couldn’t trust himself in a packed place like this any longer, he had to be alone, as far away from anyone as possible. But in a city with so many souls in it, that wasn’t much of an option.
Placing his hands in his pockets, he wandered for a while into the emptier dark streets. Places one would avoid venture, but the demon had no reason to fear for his biggest fear laid inside himself. The sound of furtive approaching steps reached him before the man did. There was a gun on his hand and a murderous glint on his eyes when he demanded for Warren to handle over his wallet.
The demon smiled, there was someone he wouldn’t feel guilty about killing. Soon a faint scream echoed into the night before it was deathly silent once more.

Syria saw Max stiffen as he recognized her as well, but she breathed a silent sigh of relief when he went along with the ruse. It would have been quite hilarious if her cover was blown before she even got started and everything. Thankfully though, for whatever reason, Max seemed compliant with her cover. She knew though, that her reaction had probably betrayed something to the other two men. So of course, she was going to have to twist the facts and play around here a bit more.
Shrugging the shock off, Syria replaced the expression with a sarcastic grin. "Nice to see you Max," she commented, jotting down his order. Then she quickly switched her attention to the other two men, one of which was still staring at her, his expression amused. She nodded as he spoke, jotting down his order.
Now that she was close, her senses were able to take in the man with more detail. Almost immediately, she picked up the scent of wolf, but it was different from hers, almost magical. He was like her, yet something different altogether. His enigmatic nature sent her curiosity churning, her interest piqued. She'd find out more about him later, though if Max was here with him, then most likely the guy was alright.
The old man waved her off after the wolf, saying that he'd probably order later. "I'll be right back!" Her smile was innocent enough, but she glared at Max for a second, her eyes swiveling from him to the bar. She need to talk with him, get things straightened out. If he was here, then he might even be able to help with the hunt.

Stephan watched as men hurried in and out of the gentlemans club and then slipped in so that he could get a look around. Tonight, he was alone and on the hunt. The bouncer at the door was no hinderance to his will and soon he was seated at a dark table in the far corner of the bar. His keen eyes noted the whereabouts of the security and then fell upon the one individual in the place that held any true interest for him.
The beautiful blond was walking across the club floor chatting with another woman. Although the brunette was enough to stir any man's blood, it was the blond who his eyes stayed glued upon. He'd come here for the express purpose of seeing her and he was not disappointed. There was no doubt in his mind that she was Celeste reincarnated and her lovely features were timeless in their beauty.
As he watched, the young woman disengaged herself from her companion and went to the bar to speak with the bartender. The huge black man who seemed to shadow her tensed suddenly and sent a seeking gaze around the club.
In that moment, Stephan knew he was no human and noted that he would have to be taken out if he decided to make his move for the girl here. However, since he was doing nothing but looking, the bouncer wouldn't make a move against him right now. Charlies eyes meet his and Stephan gave him a cordial nod before stopping a waitress and ordering a drink. Pretending to be doing nothing more than enjoying the entertainment, the vampire knew the exact moment the man's attention moved on. When it did, his lips tilted upward in a satisfied smirk and his gaze went back to the blond.
Just then, the young beauty turned and headed in his direction. Her brow was furrowed as she read what looked like a note and she passed close enough for him to touch. As she did so, he inhaled the scent of honeysuckle and wild lilies. The smell instantly cause his bloodlust to rush forward but he managed to keep from pouncing on her immediately.
As if sensing something in the air, Sibeal Montgomery stopped beside him and turned the full force of her blue gaze upon him. Stephan meet her gaze and saw the puzzlement along with an instinctive fear. Allowing a smile to spread across his face, he said softly.
"Hello, cherie'. Would you let a simple man buy such a lovely woman a drink?"

At the touch of the hand, Sibeal stopped suddenly and turned her head to gaze at the man. She knew before she even before she did so who was going to be sitting there. It was as if something inwardly recognized him and was repelled by him at the same time as he intrigued her. His words were like a silken caresss but a shudder still went over her skin.
"I'm sorry, sir... But I'm a bit busy at the moment. I'm sure one of the other girls would be delighted to have a drink but business calls me."
Then, looking pointedly down at where his hand held hers, Sibeal saw the flash of anger in his eyes but didn't back down. Charlie was approaching and she knew she was safe.
"If you'll excuse me..."
Twisting her wrist she gave him a nod and walked on, feeling as if she had barely escaped a mysterious danger.

Erik settled back and watched all the by play and then saw the look Anya exchanged with Max. An amused smirk spread across his face but he said nothing as another scene across the bar caught his attention. The blond co manager had a strange expression on her face as she stood next to a dark table. From the distance, the shapeshifter could see masculine finger entwining her wrist and his hackles rose unconciously. However, before he could even move, the woman shook the man off and moved on. The byplay was nothing unusual in a club of this nature but something about the way the man gazed after the dancer made Erik's instincts go on full alert.
Leaning towards Bobby, the wolf meet the older man's gaze and signaled the man with his eyes. With so many disappearances in the area lately, half the reason they were here tonight was to scope out anything that might appear unusual and the little scene he had just witnessed made him wary.
"The man in the darkened corner booth... What do you make of him?" he asked in a low tone.
Just as he asked, the man in question raised his gaze and looked directly in their direction. Raising his glass, he saluted them and then got up. Erik followed him with his eyes as the tall, dark haired man made his way to the exit and out the door.

Erik's subtle signal to check out the man in the corner, had Bobby looking in that direction just as the dark swarthy man saluted them with his glass and made his way out the door. A dart of apprehension shot down his spine and settled in his belly, There was nothing to pin point why he felt this way, but he didn't discount the feeling because of that.
Turning to Erik he answered, “I don't know why, but something tells me he's bad news.” he looked over at Max adding, ”How did he strike you?”

As Syria greeted him, Max looked over to Bobby and Erik and took in the looks in her faces. ‘Oh great, now they are probably thinking I have a past with her’ he mused as Syria walked away. She would better have a good explanation as to why she was pretending to be someone else.
After both man had shot him amusing glances however, he caught Bobby’s question and looked his face towards the dark haired man. Only one look to the guy was enough to give him the creeps and that…well, that was never a good sign when something set off his hunting instincts.
Max had given up hunting for a while, been a good boy all the way through his wife’s pregnancy and the baby birth. And thing was…he was aching for some action, but knew that if he left, Lexi would skin him alive. Even otherwise, he was feeling guilty enough for not being there when she was attacked by the stray wolf that it had him torn between being the family guy and being the hunter.
“How did he strike you?”
“Like I’d bet a million dollars without batting an eye that the guy is trouble.”

Syria bustled her way back to the bar, sliding behind the counter to mix the drinks herself. This situation was quickly becoming extremely tricky, and even more dangerous than before. Having Max here changed things. It was one thing to go undercover where no one knew who or what you were. But having someone in the know, that complicated things, made everything much more fragile. And personally, Syria hated fragile situations.
Just as she finished mixing the drinks, Syria caught sight of a strange man. He was lurking around in the bar, and at one distinct moment, moved in to intercept Sibeal. Since he was upwind of her, she couldn't catch his scent, but just the sight of him seemed like a bad omen in her mind. Thankfully Sibeal shrugged him off, and the guy took the rejection coolly. He merely hung back for a moment, drank the rest of his wine, and after a few glances around the bar, skulked off.
The whole exchange had her suspicious, but for the moment, she didn't act on any of them. Best thing to do right now would be hang back, and just watch. If anything serious happened, no doubt she'd jump in then, but for the moment, playing it passive as the way she was going to go.
Carrying the two drinks, Syria rushed back, keeping her gaze steady and watchful. She needed to be on alert now, if she was trusting her instincts. "Here you guys go," she commented in a fake, innocent tone, setting down the drinks. "Would any of you care for something to snack on, while you wait for Derek?" Despite trying to act obvious to him, Syria's gaze couldn't help but flicker back to Max repeatedly, and linger there for a few seconds too long. This was going to be a long night.

Making a mental note to put feelers out for information on the man, Erik nodded his agreement to the others and then turned his attention back to the brunette waitress. After a few more moments, he leaned forward and placed some money on the table before standing up.
"Since Derek isn't here at the moment, I think we would be best served coming back some other day. No telling how long he might be if hes after what I think hes after."
Turning to the woman, he gave her a slow smile and then leaned forward to whisper into her ear.
"Lass, I know what you are and your in my territory. I'm sure I'll be seeing you very soon..."
Then, pulling back as if he hadn't said a word, he gave her a wicked grin and then turned on his heel. It was time to get back to business.

Bobby stood with Erik as he indicated that the meeting that wasn't, was over.
”I need to get back to the house anyway. I promised Lexi, I would take a look at her car. One of the plugs is skipping, and she wants me to swap it out. He said as he took one last look at the Stage before he began working his way to the door.
Only to stop short when he realized that he had ridden with Max and didn't have his own vehicle. He looked over at Max with a slightly abashed look. ”Max can I hitch a ride back?”

Max fought back the urge to roll his eyes, if Syria was trying to go undercover she shouldn’t keep staring at him all the time. Best case scenario? The guys would think she was flirting with him and that might get him in trouble with his wife if she hears about this. He trusted them not to say Erik had dragged him there, but something might slip and he would probably be in trouble with Lexi until he could explain who the waitress was.
When his friends got up and moved towards the door, Max just nodded and followed until he heard Bobby speak. Nodding to the older hunter, he saw an opportunity. “Sure Bobby,” he said placing his hand on his pocket and tried to put on a believable frown. “Hmm…I think I dropped my keys back there…you go ahead and I will be with you in a second,” he said and returned back to the table they were without giving Bobby a chance to reply.
When he couldn’t see the other guys anymore, he approached Syria and handled to her his business card. He had given her his number some time ago, but since they hadn’t been in touch for quite some time, he wasn’t sure she still had it. “We should have a little talk…Anya. Give me a call later.”
Then turning around, he took his keys out of his pocket and rejoined the others outside. He hadn’t left for more than a few seconds, so he hoped they bought his little act. “There, we can go now Bobby.” He said showing the keys to the man.
