JoJo was out putting up some finishing touches on decorating the barn for the wedding. You could hardly tell it was a barn anymore with it all decked out, strings of sparkling white lights twinkled everywhere, there were flowers galore, rented white chairs, and tables with lacy table cloths were scattered about the place.
The placed was truly transformed. Jo and Lexi had worked on it for the last week, with a little help from the guys. Moving everything around, even building and putting up paneling so that it wasn't so 'barn like' inside anymore. It was perfect for a small intimate wedding.
Jo hummed to herself as she worked. Thinking about the event that would take place that night made her smile. She was pretty excited about the whole thing and was glad she was in the position to host Sam and Sammie's wedding at her home. They also had a surprise gift in store for the happy couple. Something from both the Blair and Jordan families. It definitely had her in a festive mood. A wedding tonight and her first Christmas with her husband and their own little family. She was still amazed how much her life had changed in one short year.

Standing in the doorway, Curse leaned on the frame and watched his wife. Lexi had just ambled into the house and Sammie's car was just pulling up in the drive. Having decided that the best place to be was the barn, he'd taken off for the building only to spy his wife standing under a piece of mistletoe. A grin spread across his face as he pushed away and ambled up behind her. Wrapping an arm around her waist, he grinned at her squeal of suprised and then kissed her.
"Your under the mistletoe, Darlin!" he drawled before kissing her again.
Finally pulling away, he gazed down at her and his eyes twinkled.
"So... Are we ready for this? Lex is in the house and Sammie just pulled up. Not sure where is Sam is with her or not but..... I figured the better part of valor would be hiding out here. You women are commandos when it comes to things like this." he teased.

(Ok, not sure how we are doing this or how we are all arriving but.. I wrote this out like this. If I need to change anything, I can. I didn't know if Sam would arrive with Dean or what so....)
The day had finally arrived. Sammie couldn't believe it. She'd gone shopping for a dress and then Jo and Lexi had paid for a hairdresser to do up her long chocolate locks for the ceremony. Telling Sam she'd see him at the Jordan place, she'd given him a kiss and slipped from the apartment with Alice. After all, it was bad luck for the groom to see the bride before the wedding. The rest of the day was spent getting ready and now all that remained was to slip into the gown and walk down the aisle.
At that last thought, Sammie pulled the car up in front of the Blairs and felt butterflies in her stomach. As much as she loved Sam, she'd be insane if she didn't at least question the sanity of marrying a guy she'd only met three months ago. Not to mention the fact that he brought with him alot of baggage in the form of supernatural baddies that may or may not show up on their doorstep at any moment. Even with all that though, she knew she would take what she could have as long as she got to have it with him.
Climbing out of the car with Alice, the pretty brunette grabbed her things and then took a deep breath. Looking at her friend over the top, she grinned and slammed the door shut.
"I think I need a pinch.... I feel like Cinderella and I'm afraid I'm going to wake up to find this magical event a dream." she confessed before turning her face up to the softly falling snow. "Its almost to good to be true, you know? How often does a girl find her prince when she drops her keys?"
Laughing, Alice shook her head.
"What will be will be... You and Sam are fated... No denying that. You might not have a fairy tale life with all the crap he's involved in but you'll always have love and that is worth more than anything. Take the bad with the good and always remember laughter can cure all."
Nodding at her friends wise words, Sammie headed for the house and rang the door bell. Hearing a shout from inside, she opened the door and peeked in.
"Hello?? Its just me!"
Ellen hollared for her to come in and the girls slipped into the house. The twins were both awake so the older woman had her hands ful but she smiled at them before waving them off to finish getting ready.
"Jo will be in in a moment.... You girls make yourself at home"

(Wasn't sure how to do this. Since Sammie came separate, I figured Sam would have to come with Dean since Sam doesn't have a car. Jess could meet Dean there or she could ride with the brother's?) SamSam spent most of the ride over quiet. Listening to his brother give him a hard time. Chiming in with the occasional, "Shut up Dean." or "Are you going to be like this ALL DAY?" When they finally arrived Sam gave a sigh of relief to be able to get out of the confines of the car. Not like it was going to help all that much since his brother was his best man.
Sam got out of the car and walked toward the back of the house, toward where the barn was. He saw Sammie's car and wondered where she was. He would have liked to see her but when she left the apartment she had told him that she was off limits until the ceremony. Sam was starting to think that was a stupid tradition. Right now he was starting to feel a little nervous.
Dressed in a new black suit he walked with long strides, he's eyes scanning the area for Jo or Curse or someone to tell him where he needed to go. It was going to be a small wedding, fairly informal. Just family and close friends, so there wasn't like a rehearsal or a practice run. Sam was kind of flying by the seat of his pants here. Hence the feeling of really wanting to see Sammie. It would be nice to be able to talk to her, hold her. Her presence always made him happy, she was a calming influence on him and he could use that right now. Especially with Dean just making him more nervous about the whole thing.

If there was anything more painful than wearing a suit, he was yet to find it. Forget rabid zombies, angry ghosts or insane monsters intent on ending the world…nothing, NOTHING compared to forcing a guy to wear a frikken penguin outfit.
Well, either that or come to terms with the fact that his little brother was actually tying the knot. Becoming one of the blue collar class, being tied down, going for the ankle anchor, putting away the bar hopping shoes…hell, man, it was just so surreal. Not that he wasn’t happy for the guy, but…damn. His little brother was getting married.
Talk about a way to make a guy both happy and feel like he was 28 going on eighty. Yeesh.
Tugging at the tight collar around his neck, Dean glanced sideways at the groom-to-be. Things were about to change; their little family- albeit warped as it was- was about to…well, it was about to get bigger. And much, much different. There would be no more midnight runs to the bar, or waking up to his brother’s much too perky face.
God, now he was gonna be a brother-in-law. AND an uncle. Talk about a complete 180 from his whole ‘I-doubt-I’m-gonna-live-to-see-forty’ outlook. So, in order to hide both nervousness and whatever sadness was lurking around in his chest, he turned to what he did best: complete sarcasm.
For the entire drive, it became his duty to rail and poke at his brother and couldn’t help but laugh when Sam practically leapt out of the car. One would think that living in close quarters would make the guy immune to his dark sense of humor, but he’d chalk the irritation up to that ‘big day’ crap.
Sliding out of the front seat, Dean surveyed the house and watched his brother’s retreating back. For a minute, he let himself lean on his baby’s side, and shook his head with a wry smile. All the pain, the distrust, the depressing lifestyles…damn, man. Maybe it was all actually worth something. Sam was getting married to a real good lady, he was sleeping with a real good lady himself…
And speaking of said ‘real good lady,’ he looked around for Jessie’s car and felt something in the back of his neck relax a fraction as he spotted it. For a minute, he just stared at the familiar set of wheels, an image of the pretty Coulter forming in his mind…an image that had her standing in a frilly white dress, and Sam standing beside the alter…
Damn. Cue some muttered cursing as he practically ran for the barn, as if running from the image.
Wandering into the barn after his brother, a trademark grin slid onto his face- faltering only a fraction as he spotted Curse, given the whole ‘bar window’ thing. With a little cough, he took a deep breath and strolled over.
“Hey, I’ve got one nervous groom, delivered on time. Where’s my twenty percent tip?”

A Winchester wedding... Wow, wasn't that something that she hadn't really ever dreamed of attending. Sam and Sammie were tying the knot and soon would be welcoming a new little light into the world. It was so hard to believe that Jessie had almost thought it a practical joke when she'd first heard the news. I mean, a Winchester getting MARRIED? That seemed about as real as hell freezing over with the whole "WAR OF THE WORLD" hovering over their shoulders.
However, a person would have to be blind not to see the magic flowing between the happy couple. Jessie was truly estatic for Dean's brother and had even went shopping for a wedding gift with Sibeal's help. The excitement of the event had trickled over into he soul and she'd found herself a bit more festive as she'd gone about her business and her thoughts had turned to the warm fuzzies.
Maybe it was the season or maybe it was the feeling of good will in the air but whatever it was... It did tend to spin a girls thoughts to winter wonderlands and mistletoe magic. Of her own special moment with the man of her dreams. It was times like this a girl could ALMOST believe in happily ever after and fairy tale princes. Although she made a point to live in reality, today she decided to just go with the feeling of romance dancing in the air.
She'd arrived half an hour ago with her dress and shoes in tow and had put the finishing touch's of her makeup on before slipping into the simple crimson gown. She'd bought it just for this occasion and it made her feel feminine and dainty. Some borrowed perfume was spritzed in the right places and then she felt like she was ready to go.
Smiling a bit dreamily, Jessie Coulter brushed at the hem of her dress and took one last look in the guest bathroom mirror before leaving her sanctuary. Her long locks were piled up on her head with a red ribbon entwined and a pair of red stiletto heels graced her slim legs. She knew she was looking good and it felt wonderful to be a complete woman for once. The thought of Dean's face made her smile widen impishly as she sashayed through the house and towards the kitchen where she heard Mrs. Harvelle helping the new nanny with the babies.
"Hey Mrs. H!" she called out irrevertently, knowing that she'd pay for it later. "The bride about ready?"
Giving her a stern look, Ellen arched a brow and shook her finger at her.
"Jessica Raye Coulter, you are not to old for me to paddle now you behave. The bride went upstairs a bit ago with Jo so I'm sure she'll be down shortly."
Nodding Jessie smiled at Tessa and Jake before giving them each a kiss.
"I'll let the guys know then!"
A grin at Ellen and a snacked cookie off a plate and she was out the door and off towards the barn. Ellen shook her head good naturedly after the young huntress and then Jessie was home free. A quick glance around informed her that Sam and Dean had both arrived and she practically skipped into the huge wooden building out back of the house.
"Hey everyone...." She greeted lightly before taking a bite of the chocolate chip cookie she held. "My, my... Aren't we a handsome group tonight?"
Wandering to Dean's side, she grinned as she handed him her cookie and then straightened his tie. Absently, she bit her lower lip as she went about her task. The tension she felt radiating from him told her he was uncomfortable in the monkey suit and probably feeling a bit out of his element. After all, a wedding wasn't something that really seemed to fit in with the gloom and doom that hovered over them now was it? The fact that it was happening anyways was proof that maybe better things DID exist if you were stronge enough to grab ahold of them.
She suspected he was having as hard of a time accepting that as the fact that his little brother was all grown up and starting a new life that made him a one man team again in some ways. Sure, Sam would ALWAYS be there for his older brother but now he had a wife and a kid to look after first. Things wouldn't ever truly be the same and he was probably as much adrift as she'd been without Trey. Pulling back a bit, Jessie smiled softly up at him and offered him the one gift she could give. Her support. Slipping an arm around his waist, she turned back to the others just as Curse's phone went off and he excused himself to answer it.
"Breathe guys.... There are no baddies to fight here today... " she teased a bit, trying to bring a smile to their fierce faces. "Sam... your fiance is a wonderful woman and you guys are going to be blissfully happy together.... Today is about a very rare thing in our world. It may not always be easy.. But as long as you have each other.. It will always be worth it."
Then, leaning up, she gave Sam a kiss on the cheek just as Curse came back and hollared.
"Places everyone! The bride is ready to make her appearance!"
Grinning like a fool, Jordan nodded at the Blairs as they made their way in along with a few other guests. The minister who'd been going over his notes went to the front and took his position while Lexi headed for the piano seated to the side. Jessie had known the woman was musical but she'd never realized she played hte piano until a beautiful march rang out.
Giving Dean a quick kiss, she smiled at him sweetly before taking her own seat with Jo in the front row. The magical moment had arrived at last.

(Joint post between, Jo, Sammie and Sam) Jo
Jo was slightly startled as Curse came up and kissed her. Smirking as he mentioned she was standing under the mistletoe. She gave him a warm smile as she kissed him back. Jo nodded her head as Curse raised the question on if they were ready for this. Giving a little sigh when he mentioned Sammie and Lexi had just arrived at the house. "Well... I guess I better get my butt down there and help out with the bride."
Jo gave Curse another quick kiss and started back toward the house. She saw Sam walking toward her as she went. "Heya Sam... Curse is in the barn. He'll get you all set up and fill you in on what to expect. I'm off to tend to your beautiful bride. See you soon." She could help but give a little chuckle. Sam looked really nervous. Sometimes Jo was actually glad that she didn't have to go through all this nerve wracking build up to getting married. Sighing again she kept walking. Getting to the house and going in the back sliding door spotting Sammie as she walked in. "Heya Sammie. You ready for the big event?" [/blockquote] Sammie
At Jo's voice, Sammie turned with a nervous smile. "Yeah... I think so... I'll be more than glad when it’s over though. My stomach has been doing flip flops all day. Thank you so much for doing all this for Sam and I. I know it means a lot to both of us." the pretty brunette said before rubbing her slightly rounded tummy.
Glancing at Alice, she continued. "Honestly, I'm glad Sam is ok with a small affair because I don't think I could handle anything more. The whole idea of marriage is somewhat daunting even though I am extremely excited about being with Sam forever."
Then, motioning to the huge dress bag her friend held, she grinned. "I went to that lady you recommended and she did a wonderful job with my hair... all that’s left is the dress and shoes I guess.... I really hope Sam likes it...." [/blockquote] Jo
Jo smiled. "You're welcome. It's no problem at all. Glad we could do it. I'm sure Sam will love the dress. I just passed him outside. He looks very handsome in his suit, though I think he's a bit nervous himself.
Jo slipped out of her jacket and tossed it on the back of the couch. Looking over at Sammie and her friend with the dress bag. Jo started moving toward the stairs and motioned for the others to follow her. "Come on. Let's go up to our room. We can take over the bedroom and the master bath and get you into that dress and ready to walk down the aisle." [/blockquote] Sammie
Grinning, Sam followed after the older blond and took the stairs behind her. When they reached the bedroom, the girls soon had it a mess with all the trappings needed for a bride. Hose, stockings, shoes, dress and a veil were laid out and then the bride to be began her transformation into the Cinderella of the hour.
About half an hour later, the woman looking back at Sammie in the mirror was like a winter land princess. "Oh my..." she gasped before tears sprang to her eyes and she was force to bit them back. "I'm sorry.... Anymore, it seems like the least little thing causes me to bawl." she said by way of apology. "It's really hard to believe it’s my WEDDING day is all"
Laughing, Alice straightened her train and gave her a critical eye. Then, turning to Jo, she asked. "Do you think she's missing anything?? I do!" Moving to her own bag, she pulled out a thin box and handed it to her friend. Frowning, Sammie untied the ribbon and lifted the lid to expose a beautiful silk garter with roses and ... Was that skull and crossbones? IT WAS!
Gasping, Sammie started laughing and shook her head at Alice. "OH MY GOSH... ALICE!!" Holding the box out to Jo so she could see, she swatted at her BFF. "That isn't funny!"
Shrugging impishly, the other woman danced away and then disappeared into the bathroom to put on her own dress. [/blockquote] Jo
Jo chuckled as she saw the garter. A little skull and crossbones. How appropriate she thought. Marrying a hunter, it just seemed to fit. Jo was already dressed. She wore a fairly nice wine colored dress with dyed to match pumps. She had left her hair down and had on a few simple but elegant pieces of white gold jewelry on.
"OK... you have everything. Let’s see.... Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue? Well your dress and the garter are all new. I think I can take care of the rest."
Jo went over to her jewelry box and pulled out two pieces. One was a bracelet with blue sapphire stones. Taking Sammie's arm, she attached the bracelet to her wrist. Then she took the other piece, which was an old silver cross necklace, and carefully put it around Sammie's neck before clasping it.
"The bracelet is blue, my children's birthstones with the blue sapphire. And I need that back; it was a gift from Curse when the babies were born. So that's blue and borrowed. The necklace is an antique cross that I found and picked up just for this occasion and that is yours to keep. But it's old, so we have all the bases covered I think. So whenever you are ready, I think we can head down out. Let me just give Curse a call and let him know we're about ready."
Jo pulled out her cell phone and hit the #1 speed dial and waited for her husband to pick up. It was a quick conversation. Just to let him know they were ready and to make sure they were all ready for the bride to make their entrance.
"Ok sweetie. Everyone is waiting on you girl." [/blockquote] Sammie
Taking a deep breath, Sammie told Jo thank you for everything again and gave her a quick hug. She was so nervous her breath was coming in gulps now and it seemed as if the trip from the house to the barn passed in a blur. She could remember nothing of it later when looking back except for her first sight of Sam waiting at the front of the alter. Since Alice and Jo were her attendants, they went in first to the soft sound of "Here Comes the Bride" and then Jo's husband was stepping to her side and offering her an escort down the aisle. Taking a deep, steadying breath, the young bride to be stepped through the huge wooden doors and down the path to a new life.
She knew the first moment Sam spotted her and their eyes locked. His reaction was everything she could have dreamed of and she was only vaguely aware of Dean standing beside him looked decidedly uncomfortable in his penguin suit. Her eyes were for Sam and Sam alone as a soft smile spread over her face and she made her way towards her spot beside him.
Dimly, she suspected she looked as shell shocked as he did by how handsome and beautiful he looked standing there and she suddenly wanted to run down the pathway. Biting her lower lip at the impish thought, she couldn't help the little giggle that escaped her just as they reached the preacher and her husband to be. [/blockquote] Jo
Jo followed behind Alice... The walk down the little was a little nerve wracking for Jo. Her own wedding was a whirlwind. When Jo saw Curse step up to escort Sammie and give her away she couldn't help but smile and give her husband a little wink as she walked by him. Jo took her place behind Alice as they got up to the altar and stood quietly. [/blockquote] Sam
Sam stood fidgeting at the platform they had made into an altar. His brother standing beside him. He kept mumbling to himself to remind him to breathe. Taking in deep breaths and trying to stay calm. Then he heard the music start and he turned to look toward the large opening. He saw Alice, then Jo... Then he saw Curse move in behind Jo. Then Sam's mouth dropped open when he saw Sammie come through the door and take Curse's arm. She was so beautiful, the white dress, her creamy white skin, and her dark hair all swept up took his breath away. He had to swallow thickly as he watched her walking toward him. Suddenly taken over by emotion. He didn't know if he'd be able to speak.
When Sammie got up beside him he took her hand and couldn't resist leaning over to whisper to her. "You look absolutely beautiful." He was glad to see his vocal chords were working. He cleared his throat and looked sheepishly back up at the minister after tearing his eyes away from his bride to be. [/blockquote] Sammie
Smiling brightly at Sam, the pretty brunette leaned in and whispered."So do you." That was the last thing Sammie remembered clearly as the ceremony started and she was vaguely aware of the minister skipping over the whole "obey" thing. She'd decided that vows were too important to lie about so she'd talked to the man ahead of time and arranged for that nagging little vow to be left out since she was absolutely sure she couldn't honor it. The next thing she knew, they were saying "I do" and Sam was slipping a beautiful Celtic ring on her finger. Smiling through her happy tears, she returned the favor and then the minister was pronouncing them man and wife. As the man beamed at them, he said "And now ... You may kiss the bride."
Tilting her face to Sam, the new young wife beamed happily and waited for the magical moment she'd been wishing for. When it happened, it was everything magical and then she was floating down the aisle on her new husbands arm and grinning like a fool. [/blockquote] Sam
Sam was in a very blissful daze. Everything then seemed to happen so fast. He remembers the minister telling him to repeat after him and he did what he was told. The whole time all he could do was stare at Sammie. It took him a minute and the minister had to clear his throat to get Sam to come back to reality when he had pronounced them man and wife and told him he could kiss his bride.
Sam nodded absently, but then moved to lift the veil from Sammie's face and flip it back over her head. He took her face in his hands and smiled a bright wide smile at her. Then he leaned down and kissed her. Starting out softly and unable to resist the increasing passion as the kiss got deeper lingered on.
Finally they broke apart and you couldn't wipe the grin off his face. He took Sammie's hand and the walk back down the aisle was a blur. They had done it. He was a married man and he couldn't have been any happier than he was right then and there.

The wedding went off without a hitch. Something every hunter could appreciate since there seemed to be some thing always lurking about waiting to interrupt moments like this. After escorting the beautiful bride to be down the aisle and giving her over to Sam, Curse slipped back to sit with his own wife and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. Ellen sat on her other side and a few other close friends gathered around for the couples moment in the sun.
As the minister spoke the words, Curse was taken back in time to that night almost a year ago when he'd meet the woman of his own dreams and said those very same vows. Of course, he'd been half lit at the time so the memories were hazy at best but it had still been the smartest move he'd ever made. After all, he had a gorgeous wife and two cute as hell kids that would no doubt drive them both into an early grave but who cared, right? That was what life was all about.
Turning his twinkling eyes to Jo as Sam kissed his bride, Curse leaned down and gave her a soft kiss of his own. His voice was low as he whispered.
"I hope this doesn't make you regret not having your own friends and family around..... If you want.. We could always do it again the proper way...."
Then, leaving her to think about that one, he clapped with the othes as the newlyweds turned and practically danced back down the aisle. Taking his wifes hand, he held it tight as they all disbanded and waited to wish the couple well.
"THERE IS CAKE, CHAMPAIGN AND GIFTS YET SO DON"T ANYONE RUSH OFF!" he called just before looking at Sammie and teasing. "Well, there is champaign for everyone but the new Mrs. Winchester, that is!"

What was that saying? Something about old dogs never learning new tricks? Well, color him surprised; his brooding, stubborn, puppy dog of a brother was actually getting hitched. He wasn’t having some kind of burrito induced nightmare…it was really happening.
Damn, but the urge to cry was enough to make him want to bang his head against a wall. Why the hell did he want to think ‘my baby boy’s all grown up?’ Jesus, he’d finally lost his ever loving mind.
Thank all that was holy that Jessie had shown up when she did, or he might have done something embarrassing. Like…hug his brother, or give him the ‘she’s wonderful’ speech. If he hadn’t appreciated a speech when he was about to hit Hell’s firey gates, he was twice as uncomfortable with the thought of going into that FUBAR territory…but as his woman spoke, he stepped forward to clap his brother on the shoulder.
“She is a good woman, Sam,” He said with a smile. “And…I’m proud of you. Dad would be too.”
Before he could say more, songs began to play, voices called out for positions, and he found himself shuffled forward toward the alter. As he stood next to his brother, watching Sammie float down the aisle, a little balloon of happiness seemed to take up residence in his chest. For the first time in a long time, his brother was happy. In a way, he was sad that he couldn’t show him that kind of contentment…but hell, he wasn’t a moron. He was Sam’s brother and lacked a pair of boobs and pretty eyes. Sammie was the kid’s saving grace…and he was goddamn happy that he was finally in a good place.
Lord knew that one of them deserved to be living the good life.
As the thought crossed his mind, he couldn’t help but sneak a glance at Jessie, eyes focusing on her face for a moment as the bride took her place next to her husband-to-be. And, as the ceremony started and both bride and groom looked completely and utterly in love…the thought of another wedding taking place in the future didn’t seem all too scary.
Well, look at that. Miracles do happen.
When the music started to play and the couple strolled arm in arm down the aisle, Dean turned his head to the side, swiping at a tear. Damn, this was undignified and annoying as hell…but worth it. His brother was married.
Dutifully following after the happy couple, he shook his head and clapped both Sam and Sammie on the back with a loud ‘CONGRATULATIONS’ before they could be eaten up by the crowd. Stopping in the front row, he grinned down at Jessie as Curse’s voice ran out. Offering her his hand, he tried his best to keep his grin as un-watery as possible. He was not a chick, he was not a chick…
“Guess it’s an end to late night bar hopping,” He said on a mock sigh, looking up to watch the new couple receive their congratulations. “C’mon, darlin’, let’s go greet the new Mr. and Mrs. Winchester. Damn, but time does fly.”

JoJo watched the wedding from the front row. Sitting with her husband and mother. It was a touching ceremony. Everything seemed just right with the small group of family and friends in attendance. Sam and Dean both looked good in their formal wear, albeit a bit uncomfortable. Sammie looked absolutely radiant. When the big moment came, Jo was startled slightly as Curse moved in and kissed her as well. The smile she gave him turned into a quizzical look as he spoke to her in soft tones "I hope this doesn't make you regret not having your own friends and family around..... If you want.. We could always do it again the proper way...." Before Jo could respond everyone was standing. Applause broke out as the beaming, just married couple made their walk back down the aisle.
Jo smiled, holding her husband's hand as he made a little announcement about gifts, cake and champagne. They had another section of the barn set up for the reception and post ceremony activities. Everyone started to disperse to that area to start in on the party portion of the event. Jo tugged at Curse's hand and spoke to him before they moved off to join the others. "I've never regretted our wedding for a minute. Of course some of the details are a bit foggy. I never really put any thought into doing it 'properly'." Jo chuckled a little at the memory of waking up that morning and realizing she was married. She remembered popping in the DVD of the ceremony they were given and letting out a sigh of relief at the absence of Elvis' involvement in her wedding.
Taking a moment she leaned into Curse, letting her head rest against his chest. It did seem a bit odd that in just about a week it would be their own anniversary. A whole year had passed by. It was hard to believe. So much had happened. Giving a little sigh Jo took Curse's hand and led him off to join the rest of the party.

The wedding was beautiful. Sam smiled happily down at the woman who was becoming his mate, partner and otherwise all around better half. A wistful look played across Jessie's face as she watched and her eyes roamed to Dean as they pair exchanged their vows.
Suddenly, tears filled her eyes and she had to dash them away quickly before anyone noticed. Weddings always made her sappy and she suddenly had a strange desire to the the one up there instead of the two standing there now. Oh Happy Happy Joy Joy... Wouldn't that just scare the crap out of her lover if he knew the dangerous thoughts tripping around in her head. He'd probably run screaming for the hills like the seat of his pants were on fire. Come to think of it.. Maybe she should tell him just to get a good laugh, her inner imp thought with a snicker.
Even though they had worked some stuff out between them, she knew he was still scared as hell about the first solid relationship he'd ever had and she still woke up some mornings reaching across the bed wondering if this would be the morning that he'd be gone.
As if sensing her eyes upon him, Dean glanced at her and smiled before turning back. Jessie could almost see the tension radiating from him but she knew he was genuinely happy for his brother. Life was changing for them all and it was as if they were finally becoming something more than just hunters and drifters.
Closing her eyes against those thoughts, she forced them back and then turned her attention to where Sam and Sammie were slipping gold bands upon each others hands. A finger absently rubbed at her own empty one before the minister was pronouncing them man and wife and the ceremony was over.
When Dean reached the front row, Jessie took in his expression and immediately slipped her smaller hand into his as he held his out. Her heart melted at the look in his eyes and she smiled up at him.
"Oh.. I don't know... I think some bar hopping could be arranged as long as it doesn't include any long legged blond bimbos and you promise not to make me buy all the drinks!" she teased, trying to lighten the moment for him.
Then, letting him lead her to the new Mr. and Mrs. Winchester, she tightened her hold on his hand before joining into all the festivities.

As everyone gathered around, Sammie tried to acknowledge the well wishes but her eyes were for her husband and her husband alone. Happiness made her fairly glitter as she held his hand and then slide one hand protectively over her little angel. Just as she did this, a solid little thump hit her hand and she gasped. Afraid she'd imagined it, she waited for a moment and then felt it again.
Pulling on Sam's arm, she turned away from the others with eyes brimming in happy tears. A wide smile graced her face as she drew his larger palm over and place it on her rounding tummy. Just as it settled there, she felt the imp inside give another kick.
"I think someone else wants to give his approval.. or her.. Whichever it may be."
With tears glittering, she gave a choked laugh and beamed at him.
"I"m so happy... I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day."

SamThings were kind of a blur for Sam then. He vaguely heard his brother's voice offering congratulations amidst the other cheers and shouts. Sam felt a little out of his element with everyone wanting to crowd around, patting him on the back, giving him and Sammie their well wishes.
Sam kept a tight hold on Sammie. Not about to let her get swept away into something without him. People wanting pictures and what not. The smile was fixed on his face and he felt like all he could do was keep nodding as people passed by and spoke to him.
After awhile as people started to disperse somewhat, Sammie pulled him off to the side. He saw the tears in her eyes, thinking it was just the emotion of the day he kissed her forehead. He raised an eyebrow when she took his hand, placing it on her belly. At first he had no idea what she was doing and then he felt it. It was one of the strangest things he'd ever experienced and considering his 'job' that was saying something. But, it was unmistakable. He felt the movement under his hand. "Wow... the baby... That's amazing. As if the day couldn't get any better huh?" Sam couldn't help the grin that spread across his face then. Wrapping his arms around Sammie he lifted her up off the ground and twirled around with her. He kissed her hard and passionately before he set her back on her feet.
Taking a look around at their friends and family. Everyone was milling around chatting in small groups. Food and drinks were out on the banquet tables. Giving a small sigh Sam looked down at his new wife. "I guess it would be in poor taste if we just left? I'd love to just hold you and take you away right now. I supposed that'll have to wait a bit since we are the guests of honor." Sam took hold of her hand again and resigned himself to spending the next couple of hours getting his picture taken and socializing with the guests. Though his mind was on his new wife and the precious life she carried inside her. Feeling the baby kick like that... It was something that he'd never forget, that first movement. A real indication that it was a human being in there and he was going to be a father.

(joint post... still needs some editing... but anyone else at the wedding please feel free to continue posting so we can close out this thread! THANKS!!)
Lexi
As the party got under way, Lexi excused herself to go to her purse. Taking out a packet of papers, she looked around until she spotted Jo and Curse. Max followed at her heels as she moved towards them and then grinned at the other couple. The newlyweds were off to the side by themselves at the moment and seemed to be sharing a bonding so she quickly glanced at her friend.
"Ok, so.... Here is the suprise... Everything is signed and noted so all that is left is their signatures on the deed... I only hope Sam doesn't think we are being to heavy handed. Men do have their pride and they can be a bit touchy about this sort of thing." she said with a bit of a twinkle in her eye as she looked at their respective husbands.
Curse
Curse snorted and rolled his eyes before tucking an arm around his wife. "Well, I would say that if you were doing it as charity then he might be a might upset. However, since your just giving them their own place with terms that he can work at, I think it will be fine. After all, this removes some of the stress of trying to find a suitable place for his new wife and baby while still keeping his head down."
Lexi
Nodding, Lexi looked at Jo and handed her the packet. "Why don't you do the honors... "
Jo
Jo and Curse had been mingling with the guests when Jo spotted Lexi moving toward them. Jo tugged at Curse's arm so they could meet Lexi and Max in a quiet out of the way spot. She nodded as Lexi spoke about the gift and hoping it wouldn't hurt Sam's manly pride. Jo gave a little chuckle.
"Well, it's not like it's charity. Besides, if it really comes down to it... We both own businesses, if he feels the need to pay us back for it we could always give him a job. But they definitely need a place to live. It's the least we can do since it's within our means."
Jo thought about it for a moment. Not wanting to embarrass the couple by handing them a gift of this magnitude in public.
"I think we should just take them off to the side. Explain everything to them. Not make too big of a deal of it with all these people around."
Jo gave a look around to the other three. Not sure how to handle this. She was excited, hoping that the newlywed couple would see it for what it was. A genuine gift from the heart.
Lexi
Nodding, Lexi agreed with what Jo was saying and then frowned. "Well, now looks to be as good of a time as any. They are in the corner by themselves and we can distract anyone that approaches I think...."
Curse
Looking around, Curse grinned. "Max and I can certainly distract if you ladies want to do that. After all, Darlin, you know i"m no good with sappy moments... If Samantha starts crying, Sam may deck one of us guys."
Lexi
Laughing, Lexi shook her head and rolled her eyes. "I may tell him to anyways just for grins and giggles" she teased, sticking her tongue out at the other hunter in an impish manner.
Turning to Jo, she shrugged. "Shall we?"
Sammie
Standing in the corner with her new husband, Sammie was glad for a quiet moment alone with him. All the hustle and bustle was leaving her a bit exhausted and the baby's first movement had left her a bit shaken. It had seemed to solidify everything that was happening and she suddenly was happy and scared all at the same time.
However, she had to believe everything was going to be all right. It just had to be.
Looking up at Sam, she smiled softly and felt tears gather in her eyes. "Hells Bells.... It seems I cry at everything these days." she muttered before wiping away the tell tale moisture. "I hope I'm not going to become a watering pot like some females."
Sam
Sam had his arms wrapped around his wife. She seemed to be a little shaky with emotion right now. A lot had happened in a short period of time. He knew it wasn't an easy adjustment. Even for him, things were feeling very strange, he couldn't imagine how she felt, she was the one that was pregnant.
When he saw the tears in her eyes he pulled her close to him and stroked her hair. A small smile crossed his lips. "It's OK Sammie, you're are most definitely entitled to a few tears. And I don't mind. As long as I know you're happy and not feeling sad. It's OK if you're scared too. So am I a little, but everything will be fine. I'll do everything in my power to make sure of it."
Sam gave her a tight squeeze while they talked. Then he glanced up and saw Lexi and Jo looking in their direction When they caught his eye they started to head in his direction. Sam raised his eyebrow and kissed Sammie's cheek. "I think we have some company coming over."
Jo
Jo had the packet of papers in her hand now. She took a deep breath when Lexi spoke. Nodding when Curse mentioned the guys hanging back to keep people away while they talked to the newlyweds.
Jo smiled at Lexi when she asked, "Shall We." Jo nodded again, gave Curse a quick kiss, glanced at Lexi then turned and started to head toward the couple over in the corner.
Trying not to break into a huge grin Jo cleared her throat as they approached. Holding the packet of papers in both hands in front of her. "Hey guys. Congratulations. Feeling a little overwhelmed? Well we don't want to take up too much of your time here, but we wanted to give you something. It's just a gift from our families to you and your new family. We're all like family anyway. You know... Us hunters need to stick together you know."
Jo heaved a bit of a sigh... Not sure what else to say and gave Lexi a look, hoping that she would speak up as well.
Lexi
Grinning like a loon, Lexi nodded along with Jo's words and saw the questioning looks spring over the couples face. "Oh, come on now.. Its nothing BAD! OPEN IT UP AND SEE!" she declared.
Sammie
As the other women approached, Sammie got a look at their faces and they looked like a pair of cats who ate the canaries. Blinking rapidly, the young brunette listened to Jo talk and then stared at the packet she held out. Frowning, she glanced at Sam and then reached out to take the envelope. A wary expression crossed her face as she eyed Jo and Lexi and then opened the top. Reaching inside, she took ahold of the papers and pulled them out so that she and Sam could both see the top page. It took a full moment for what she was seeing to sink in and when it did, she gasped and some of the pages fluttered to the ground. Turning to Sam with a bemused look, she opened her mouth but no words came out.
When words finally did make it out it was something to the effect of.."Oh my... Sam... What... is that... oh my... why?"
Jo
Jo stood and watched as Sammie took the papers from her. Chuckling as Lexi encouraged her to open up the packet. She took a deep breath and stood back to wait for their reaction.
Sam
Sam had a questioning look on his face. He looked back and forth between Jo and Lexi. He was sure they were up to something. When Sammie opened up the packet of papers he read over her shoulder. His head snapped up and he stared at the other two women when he realized what he was reading.
He was speechless for a moment. When Sammie looked up at him he saw her struggling to get words out. Taking a second to get himself together he bent down and picked up the papers that had fallen.
Standing back up he gathered all the papers from Sammie and sorted through them. Reading them more carefully. He took a deep breath and addressed Jo and Lexi. "A house? It's in our name? I mean... You're giving us a house, not just like renting it from you or whatever. You're GIVING us a house?"
Sam wasn't sure what to think about this. His instinct was to say that it was too much. That they couldn't accept it. He sighed. The wheels in his head were turning. Sam knew that the two women were in a position to afford this type of gift. He had to admit, it would be nice to not have to worry about their living arrangement.
Turning to Sammie, he leaned in and kissed her. Then he couldn't help but smile. Giving a glance over to Jo and Lexi before he turned back to his new wife. "Welcome to my world baby." The hunter's community was something else. Mostly they kept to themselves, but they had there little groups. And hunters took care of their own. Sam spoke quietly. "Thank you guys. I'm not sure what to think about this. I think we're going to have to sit down and discuss the details of this at some point. But for right now.... Thank you, it's an amazingly generous gift. "
Lexi
Beaming at the pair, Lexi gave Sam a wink and then nodded. "Of course. We completely understand but we want you to know that its yours with no strings attached. Fighting a war doesn't really leave much time for normal life establishment and Jo and I were both blessed in our luck of finding well off spouses and we just want to share a bit of that with our own families... And that is exactly what you guys are. Family. Maybe not by blood but by every other way that counts."
Then, looking at Sammie, she continued.
"Not only that but since you guys don't have anyone besides Dean... Jo, I and the guys want you to know you can call or show up on the doorstep any time you need anything. We know how hard it is sometimes and it helps to have those around you who understand exactly what your going through. Jo and I are both new mothers and it will be fun to welcome another little one into the folds."
Sammie
Somewhat overwhelmed by everything, Sammie could only stare at the papers as Sam read them through and then thanked the ladies. The thought of having a home of their own was a relief no matter how they looked at it because she and Sam had spent hours talking about it and trying to figure out a workable solution.
With him being on the run from alot of law agencies and fighting a holy war, it was a chore to hold down a job and make enough money to make ends meet. He'd stressed over that and the fact that there would be times he would have to leave her alone and she'd tried to reassure him even while being scared to death herself. Now, a home at least was theirs worry free.
"Thank you all so very much." she finally managed to get out before hugging both women and dashing the tears away from her eyes yet again. "I don't even have the words. It will be wonderful to have a place of our own hassle free."

JoJo smiled at the couple and nodded in agreement with what Lexi was saying. Sammie was part of their family now. Jo remembered and was still thankful that she had had Lexi around during her pregnancy with the twins. If they could be there to make things easier for Sammie, if she had questions or just needed a friend that understood what being part of this weird lifestyle was like, Jo would be happy to help. It wasn't exactly easy to try and live a life, with a husband and a family AND know there was a crazy supernatural war going on around them.
Now that they had given them the surprise gift, Jo was sensing that things were a little overwhelming for Sam and Sammie. It would probably be a good idea to get onto the rest of the festivities. Jo gave them all a grin. "Hey... You know, I'm actually kind of hungry and we have this really awesome cake over there, but we kind of need the bride and groom to get over there and do the whole cake cutting thing. It just wouldn't be an official wedding without that." Pointing in the direction of the wedding cake that was on display. Jo tilted her head to indicate that should head over in the direction.
