Dakota had been about to head out on her latest hunt a few hours earlier when Caleb had shown up at her door, returning the clothes he’d borrowed from her the night before. She’d been a little surprised to see him again and secretly glad when he’d offered to come along on her latest hunt. Some hunters preferred to hunt alone but Dakota was use to working in a team and she enjoyed the company. She hadn’t had a chance to get to know Caleb very well but maybe on this hunt they could both learn a little more about each other. Dakota always enjoyed making new friends and she found Caleb particularly interesting, her mother had been friends with a were couple years ago, she remembered her mother and aunt having a terrible row over the matter. Dakota had been very young at the time but had fond memories of them and suddenly realised they were probably what started her obsession as a child with wanting a pet dog.
So here they were now a few hours later, wandering the back alley of a local bar looking for clues in a spate of killings, in the past few weeks two men on separate occasions had been lured into the alley by a woman that no one seam to be able to describe, then were found hours later partially devoured. Of course one could be mistaken for thinking it was just your regular garden Varity sicko, although human males are more partial to this kind of crime than females, and yes it could also be possible that the men were being lured out by some guy in drag but Dakota had a hunch that this was a little more than a ‘Hannibal Lector’ going for take out, she wanted to make sure that their wasn’t a supernatural angle.
Seaching the alley she looked for anything out of the ordinary, anything that could be a possible clue, something the police could have possibly over looked, damn this could take all night, she swore under her breath and looked up toward Caleb, maybe with his enhanced werewolf senses he could sniff out something……besides the putrid smell of vomit coming from one of the dumpsters.
”So, Rex……did your superpowers sniff out any leads or do you think we should just head back in and see if we can get any leads inside. Maybe the staff and patrons will be more talkative with us than they were with the police.” She grinned at Caleb, Dakota’s weird sense of humour had decided that she was going to call him Rex, after the famous crime fighting Austrian German Shepherd………well it was slightly better than calling him Lassie.

Caleb went back to Dakota’s hotel to return her clothes…well, it wasn’t completely true. He wanted to see her again, but he was trying to be subtle about that. She sounded cocky enough without needing an ego burst. When he arrived there, he noticed she was about to head out for a hunt and he volunteered to help her. She had mentioned some sort of cannibal, and well, he didn’t appreciate the idea of anyone nibbling on her. He was looking to be able to do that himself.
When she mentioned people turning into snacks, he figured it might be some kind of were or even a rougarou. However he quickly dismissed the second one, those creatures didn’t usually set ambushes, while they still had a brain, they usually ate everyone that crossed their path, and in this case it sounded something more deliberated.
Searching the alley, he was unable to pick up anything with his eyes, but when he sniffed the air, it was a completely different deal. “Sure, the guys in there might be more talkative to you than a cop. Why don’t you go in and bring me a beer?”
Ignoring her rex comment, he gazed back at her. “I discovered a few things actually, first this place is disgusting, there are some smells around here…trust me, you don’t want to know. Second…you should bathe more often,” he said with a teasing smirk. Yes, this was payback for the rex comment. “Third I can say for sure it isn’t any kind of were that did is. There is the scent of blood, and women’s perfume. Either your cannibal is a she or the guy has more serious problems than his diet.”
He gazed towards the bar’s back door and motioned to her. “So how you want to go about this? Want to try charming the drunkards…they’re probably so wasted than even you might manage that,” he smiled playfully, “or we do it the fun way and bash a few heads until they say something?”

When Caleb suggested that she bring him out a beer, Dakota’s temper flared and she turned around to face him as she crossed her arms in a defensive manner, her eyes narrowing squarely at him to show she wasn’t impressed.
’I don’t think you’d really want me to fetch you a beer, you probably wouldn’t like where I put it!!”
Letting her anger dissipate Dakota went back to searching the alley for any possible clues, but it seemed like a waste of time, they would probably be better off seeing what they could get from the patrons inside. Caleb began to speak again and she raised her head.
“I discovered a few things actually, first this place is disgusting, there are some smells around here…trust me, you don’t want to know. Second…you should bathe more often……………………………third I can say for sure it isn’t any kind of were that did is. There is the scent of blood, and women’s perfume. Either your cannibal is a she or the guy has more serious problems than his diet.”
Dakota walked toward him as she spoke ” Well the witnesses told the police that they saw both victims leave with an attractive woman but none of the witnesses could describe her exactly, kind of strange that really, I mean they knew she was an ‘attractive woman’ but couldn’t give any description at all. Tell me what man can’t remember even one detail about a woman that caught their eye enough to remember as attractive? Hmmm maybe a siren or an incubus? “ Dakota thought for a moment and shook her head,” No, no neither eat their victims. And you’re sure it’s not a were……….hmmm, you don’t suppose it’s some kind of pagan god, a voodoo ritual or maybe some kind of black magic.
The very thought that there were so many evil sons of bitches out there that could be possible suspects for this case made Dakota’s hair stand on end and the fact she was standing here with a werewolf that could be capable of such inhumanity didn’t make her feel any easier. There was something about Caleb that she liked, Dakota couldn’t deny that, he made her laugh but she needed to be careful who she trusted.
“So how you want to go about this? Want to try charming the drunkards…they’re probably so wasted than even you might manage that,” he smiled playfully, “or we do it the fun way and bash a few heads until they say something?”
Caleb’s words about even her being able to ‘charm’ a drunk out of information while they were so wasted cut a little deep but Dakota continued to grin at the joke, pretending to see the funny side and not show a hint her true feelings. Dakota wasn’t very feminine and she was use to guys not seeing her that way, the only guys that had ever shown her remotely any attention had been a vampire and an incubus who were only after a feed and that freakin demon in Texas just tryng to mess with her head. Ever since the demon attack that had claimed her mother, Dakota had accepted that no one would want her anyway, not if they saw the ugly scars she’d been left with, so it was best to not think about something that was never going to happen. She cleared her throat and spoke, ”I think neither plan sounds very endearing, and that maybe the direct approach might be best. We just go in there and ask our questions…see what we can turn up.” Dakota glanced briefly at Caleb before heading toward the back door and entering the club.

It was good to see Caleb hadn’t lost him touch as it came to annoying others. As she explained to him why he wouldn’t want her to fetch him a beer, he laughed and shook his head to let her know he was just joking. It wasn’t like he was just trying to annoy her though, he had a think for though ass kicking ladies, and since she had taken the habit of calling him by a dog’s name he could at least annoy her back a little.
Just as he commented about her charming the drunkards, he was able to get a strange look on her face, but it vanished too quickly for him to be certain of anything. He was at a loss of how that comment could upset such a beautiful woman like her, sure she might be a little intimidating to some, but she was beautiful. He didn’t know her very well anyways, to know what kind of effect his words would have upon her.
Following her into the club, Caleb let out a disappointed sigh. “Aw but I was looking forward to bash some heads!” he told her with a smirk that didn’t hide the teasing tone of his voice.
“I’m going to check with the bartender, why don’t you ask around while I talk with him? And try to not attract the attention of a pack of wolves this time? I’m not in the mood to be handcuffed to your bed…not while I’m unconscious anyway.”
There was something flirty about the tone of his voice, and still if she didn’t appreciate it he could always claim to be joking.

Dakota made her way into the club through the back door and Caleb followed closely behind. Once inside she paused and glanced around to get her bearings, scoping out the bar, the main entrance and where the bathrooms were. The place was fairly full and a little on the noisy side but didn’t appear to be particularly rowdy. She heard Caleb sigh and Dakota turned back toward him and he smirked at her and commented how he had been looking forward to bashing some heads, she frowned at him but found his comment reminded her of her Aunt Cassie.
”Well try and contain yourself while we are working, we don’t want to get kicked out before we can catch this son of bitch. the expression on her face changed from that of annoyance to a sly smirk, ”…..if you really want a fight, when we’ve finished here I’d be more than happy to kick your ass for you.”
”I’m going to check with the bartender, why don’t you ask around while I talk with him? And try to not attract the attention of a pack of wolves this time? I’m not in the mood to be handcuffed to your bed…not while I’m unconscious anyway.”
He really did have to insist on continuing to try her patience, didn’t he……the remark that questioned her skills as a hunter was bad enough but the last part about the handcuffs took a moment for the sexual innuendo to sink in but she kept her cool as she replied to his flippant remark and refused to appear flustered at all.” Well I’ll try my best if you promise not to start bashing any heads. And next time, conscious or not I promise to use silver handcuffs. I’ll cover you with fish and leave the door open for the neighbourhood cats to wander in.” she teased him grinning at her own creative imagination. She had to admit that she enjoyed teasing Caleb and he made it so easy.
Pulling her attention away from her verbal jousting with Caleb and back to the task at hand, ’I’ll go and chat to the guys at the pool table, see if I can learn anything,”

At least she hadn’t tried to kill him for his remark, that had to be a good sign after all. Her reply had Caleb laughing slightly, she seemed to have quite a creative head over her shoulders when she decided to be annoying…what apparently was pretty much all of the time.
“Kinky!” he replayed to her comment of silver handcuffs, fish and cats. And with a fleeting smirk turned back to wander towards the bar. There were a few drunkards there, none of them seemed to be in condition to be any help when it came for answers.
His eyes fell upon the bartender, big and muscular guy with green spikey hair, grunge clothing and a large hoop for a nose ring. Certainly the charming type Dakota might like to meet, he thought sarcastically. Reaching the bartender, he ordered himself a beer and took a seat on a stool for a moment to sip from the bottle that was then handled him.
Peeking over his shoulder, he looked back to see how the huntress was doing and to see if she might need any help. Last time she was in a bar she ended up with a small pack of wolves after her. Satisfied that she could handle herself, he returned to the bartender.
“What about the murders in the back alley over there? Surely you have heard or seen something that might worth sharing?”
The bartender watched him suspiciously. “Are you a cop?”
“Do I look like a cop?”
“Guess not, the cops are usually taller,” the man replied before laughing.
Caleb coolly took another sip of his beer before placing the bottle on the bar counter and glancing at him. “Everybody is a comedian those days,” he muttered and shrugged. “Nice nose ring you have there by the way.”
The large bartender smiled and nodded his thanks.
“Do you know what else might look good on your face?”
The bartender gave him a curious look, that was before Caleb reached forward too quickly for him to back down and taking a hold of his nose ring the wolf pulled his head down, smashing it against the bar counter and keeping him pinned. “The bar.”
“Now how about you answer my question?”
Dakota might not appreciate his method, but the bartender was now chatty than ever. He told Caleb all he knew about the murders, including confirming seeing a hot looking woman luring man out to the alley prior to their deaths. She had even been spotted inside that bar one time or another. Somehow the guy couldn’t quite give him a decent description of the woman, but it looked like she had a peculiar appetite for men, a regular man eater it seemed.

Dakota huffed at Caleb’s kinky remark and walked over toward the pool table to see what information she could dig up from the patrons. The guys were just finishing up a game and Dakota asked if she could join the next one. A couple of the guys snickered at her but one step forward and offered to take her on but wanted to know what she had to offer for stakes. She eyed him carefully as his friends laughed and whispered amongst themselves but Dakota held her temper in check and firmly offered up cash as her stakes, making it quite clear that nothing else was on the table. She was very careful to keep her demeanour friendly as she wanted to pump these yokels for information and she couldn’t do that if she had them off side.
During her game she eased the conversation around to the murders in the alley and gradually the men who were regulars and had been here both nights, began to open up. Although not one of them could describe the woman in question they did remember something they hadn’t told the police, so Dakota hadn’t wasted her time and once she finished this game she could catch up with Caleb and share the information she’d just learned.
Her game was almost finished but unbeknown to Dakota one of the men viewing the game had actually been more focused on viewing her rear and every time she walked around the table to size up an angle for her next shot the perv would trail not far behind her to catch the best ‘vantage point’ as she leant over the table in her tight leather pants to take her shot. On the last one however Dakota was acutely a wear of someone standing too close behind her and decided to teach them a lesson. With cue stick in hand she made a grand gesture of flipping it under her arm to line up for her last shot but extended it out a little further than normal and caught the unsuspecting pervert straight between the legs and he immediately dropped to the floor in agony much to the amusement of his friends who all roared with laughter. Dakota fainted ignorance of the situation, gave a sincere sounding apology and continued on with her winning shot.
After turning down more games she collected her winnings, thanked her opponent for an interesting game and made her way back over toward Caleb. She had kept an eye on him during her game to make sure he didn’t get into too much trouble and had seen his little run in with the barman. After approaching, she took the seat next to him and ordered an OJ from the barmen, who quickly deposited her drink and left to serve customers down the other end of the bar. Dakota took a sip and turned toward Caleb, ” So, if you’ve finished playing with the barman, do you have anything useful you care to share with me?”

Caleb was half way through his second on the house beer, courtesy of the chatty bartender as he smirked in amusement watching Dakota win the pool game while she hustled information from her opponent and his friends. He hadn’t failed to notice that perv staring at her, and yes, he felt the urge to get over there and rip that guy’s head off, but restrained himself. He knew that the huntress could take care of herself and that she would deal with him in her own way.
There was somewhat of a childish joy in his laughter when he witnessed her use the cue stick inside and outside the pool table. As she approached, he took another sip from the beer bottle on his hand and then settled it back on the counter.
The bartender watched Caleb warily for a moment before bringing the black haired woman her OJ and stepped back quickly.
“Sure,” he replied to her question with a smirk, “and have you finished with castrating your date over there?”
Giving a little chuckle, he continued. “All that nose ring over there knows, is that it your cannibal is a hot woman. She lures guys into that back alley and sounds like she has been prowling around here from time to time. Our new friend here,” he nodded towards to the barman, “has agreed to let us know if she shows up again, haven’t you?”
The barman gave them a scared nod, he wasn’t going to say no to that crazy couple. Between some crazy flesh eating woman and those two…he wasn’t sure yet who was scarier.
“What about you Dakota, got anything worthwhile with you pool pals? A boyfriend perhaps?” he asked with a teasing note to his voice.

“………….and have you finished with castrating your date over there?”
Dakota eyed Caleb with mild amusement, so he’d seen her little run in with the pool watching pervert, as far as she was concerned the guy had gotten his just desserts and maybe he’d think twice before trying that move on the next unsuspecting female that joined them in a friendly game.
”Yeap, all done until the next male steps out of line,” smirking at Caleb she took another sip of her orange juice as she allowed her words to sink in. Dakota couldn’t help herself she found that she enjoyed teasing Caleb maybe just a little too much, which scared her just a little as she barely knew anything about him except for the fact he was a werewolf and that alone should be enough to warn her from wanting to get too involved. He had one thing going for him though, he made her laugh and in Dakota’s book that was an important factor in any friendship.
A chuckle from Caleb brought Dakota back from her thoughts, “All that nose ring over there knows, is that it your cannibal is a hot woman. She lures guys into that back alley and sounds like she has been prowling around here from time to time. Our new friend here,” he nodded towards to the barman, “has agreed to let us know if she shows up again, haven’t you?”
Her eyes glanced across at the barmen, the poor guy didn’t look much better than her friend at the pool table, she had to admit Caleb had a knack for extracting information but of course she wouldn’t tell him that, his head was big enough already and she wouldn’t want him to know that she was mildly impressed with him.
“What about you Dakota, got anything worthwhile with you pool pals? A boyfriend perhaps?”
Dakota had been taking another sip of her orange juice when his last question caught her completely off guard and she choked slightly. She knew he was just teasing her but the question seem to just come out of no where and she hadn’t been expecting it. Dakota cleared her throat and sat her glass of orange juice back on the bar.
”I don’t have time for a boyfriend, besides they’re too much trouble.”she narrowed her eyes as she studied his face and a slight smirk crossed her own,”So ,if you see something you like over there, go ahead, I promise I won’t try and steal him out from under you.” She’d had her little fun with him and now it was time to get down to the business at hand and she changed the topic of discussion to his first question and the reason they were both here.
”As for our little cannibal problem, it appears that both men she hit on and bit on……had something in common. Apparently they had both gotten a little over friendly with unwilling female patrons. Nothing to warrant calling the police just dealing out unwanted attention. Now the guys said that the women on the receiving end were two completely different chicks, oddly enough they could remember those two perfectly just not the woman that came in after and invited the men to a ‘private party’. I’m guessing it nearly has to be some kind of dark magic, clouding the other patrons memories of the woman and I really don’t think the other two women had anything to do with the killings, they were just a means for our ‘friend’ to pick her next victim. Of course if we don’t have any luck tonight we could find out their names and maybe check them out…..but I had a more direct plan in mind.” She looked at Caleb and a weak smile crossed her face.
” So, how would you feel about playing the bait in a little trap for our cannibal?

Sipping on his beer while he studied her reaction to his words, Caleb had to fight hard to stop his eyes from wandering over her figure. It wasn’t enough that he had a thing for ass kicking women like her, she had to be that hot too? But even that he could feel a sparkle between them, he had no idea if she would give him a chance to be anything further than a hunting partner.
She was a huntress, he was a wolf, and theory dictated that they should be enemies. So far it seemed that they had found a loophole in that theory…but she had no knowledge of who he had been before, not much than a bloody beast. Would she be disgusted by him if she knew it? Would she try to kill him?
He heard her words and smirked, shrugging away the memories of his past and the doubts they caused in him. “Not really, I only go for the independent strong women…so if you see one, will you let me know?” he said teasingly and smirked right back at her.
As she got down to business, he listened to her cannibal theory, and a frown came to his features. She wanted him to play the bait for a woman that had the habit of eating people? Even if he had some handy healing skills thanks to his curse, capable of healing any bruise, broken bone or organ, there were still some parts of his anatomy that wouldn’t grow back. No matter if he was a wolf or otherwise, that wasn’t something he was willing to risk.
“Why don’t you play the bait? I know it is a woman that is doing this, but maybe she swings both ways?” he said and frowned further as he saw that look on her face. “There are some things that just don’t grow back, you know, even if you are a were!”

Dakota was beginning to think that maybe she shouldn’t have asked Caleb to help with this job but she hadn’t really known any other male hunters in town, she could have asked Jess or Blair but she’d had a feeling that a male hunter was what she needed for this job. There was one tiny little problem with her theory however, Caleb in fact wasn’t a hunter he was a werewolf, which was why she was having reservations working with him. He’d proved himself once helping her and Michelle but could she continue to trust him? Her mother had, had friends among the weres but her aunt had hated them with a passion. Another question continued to gnaw at Dakota, why was he here now helping her? Caleb was a bit of a mystery to her but Dakota was intrigued by the little werewolf and found herself wanting to unravel this mystery and discover the man hidden beneath.
”Why don’t you play the bait? I know it is a woman that is doing this, but maybe she swings both ways?………..There are some things that just don’t grow back, you know, even if you are a were!”
For a moment Dakota just sat there as she took n his words, then suddenly she burst out laughing. ”That has to be the lamest excuse I’ve ever heard and the most absurd part is, that it came……”she looked around to make sure no one was listening then she leaned in really close so only he could hear, ”……..it came from a werewolf.” the very thought of a werewolf worried about someone munching on him made Dakota laugh until her sides hurt but eventually she managed to settle herself down and after clearing her throat she continued to speak." So far she only seems to have gone after male victims so I don’t think I’m going to work as bait. Don’t worry though she only dines on vital organs……or at least so far anyway. Both victims had their livers eaten, ripped from their bodies by human teeth. ” She smirked slightly after deliberately commenting that the woman only went after ‘vital’ organs, she knew exactly what organ Caleb was concerned about and Dakota hardly classed that as a vital one but then she wasn’t a male. ” Oh come on! You’ve come all the way down here to help and you’re just gunna chicken out now. People have been dying here and it’s likely more still could. Isn’t their anything I could do or say to talk you into helping?”

Caleb’s features revealed his annoyance as Dakota started laughing at him. For the wolf the idea of being eaten was no laughing matter when you had seen that with your own eyes. He was a werewolf and he had ripped humans apart with his wolf fangs before but he had never eaten them. The very thought disgusted him while a few of the Dogs of War used to say he was wasting perfectly fine food.
The cannibal woman only went out after vital organs? That was an extremely vital organ for him, he could deal with losing a liver…but not losing that particular part of his anatomy and he liked to keep that intact.
“Liver’s huh? That makes me feel so much better!” he said with an evident sarcastic tone. It was that supposed to make him feel better? If so she wasn’t doing a very good job at it.
When she mentioned innocent people had died and more likely still could, he groaned keeping his annoyed face and scrunched up his nose before shifting his eyes away from her. He hoped he could say that he didn’t cared for that, but a change had taken effect within him since he had left the Dogs of War. He would be lying to her and to himself if he was to say he didn’t cared.
But it was her question that made him turn back to face her.
“Isn’t their anything I could do or say to talk you into helping?”
He tilted his head as he took what she had said in consideration. Yes, there was something she could do to sway him into helping herm but the wolf figured he would be slapped for saying it.
For a while all he did was stare at her, and then suddenly his hands moved up and he grabbed her jacket and pulled her to place a fiery kiss upon her lips.
And then he let go and pulled back. “For good luck then?” he said plainly. He had figured that it was something that was worth being slapped for…and right then after kissing her he had decided he had been right about that.

Dakota was beginning to think that the wolf was nothing but a scared little puppy who was about to take off with his tail between his legs rather than help out with a case that was a little distasteful for him. She expected this from a male hunter, they could be an arrogant bunch and seemed to think female hunters had no other purpose than to play the ‘bait’ on a case.
Caleb sat for along time, as if deep in though, he didn’t say anything he just continued to stare at her. Dakota was about to speak when Caleb did something that took her completely by surprise, he reached forward and grabbed her by the jacket and pulled Dakota toward him and into an extremely unexpected and passionate kiss. At first she found herself so shocked that she couldn’t do anything but comply with his demands but as her brain began to process the situation, Dakota found herself actually enjoying the kiss, sliding her hands onto his thighs she steadied herself and was about to reciprocate and deepen the kiss when he let go and pulled away and Dakota quickly stepped back.
“For good luck then?”
It took Dakota a moment to process what had happened, Caleb was playing along with the plan and had decided to be bait for her little trap. The other two victims had been a little over friendly toward female patrons and had been picked up by the liver eating lady after one of their little displays.
”Don’t worry I’ll make mine look good.” she whispered so only Caleb could hear.
Grabbing Caleb by the shirt, Dakota roughly dragged him out of his seat as she launched into an angry tirade."If you think you’re going to get away with that you sleazy son of a bitch, you got another thing coming…...” With the bar blocking the view behind and Dakota’s body blocking mostly the rest, she quickly made a big show of kneeing him, but instead of connecting where you would expect she actually kneed him slightly higher and had cushioned the blow so as not to wind him or cause him too much pain, it just looked to all those who were watching that she’d hit him where it would be sure to cause the most intense pain. She let go of his shirt, leaving him to fall to the ground. ”Next time you get an urge ask the lady first."
With that Dakota turned on the heal of her motorcycle boot, scooped up her OJ and went to find a seat somewhere in a nice quiet corner to watch and see if their little fishing trip would land them anything.
((hopes Caleb realises that was undercover to catch attention))

The kiss had been what he expected and more, off course Caleb was hoping she’d reciprocate the kiss, but had given up that hope a second before pulling back. She had touched him, but since she seemed frozen when he had kissed her, he believed that it had been because she was going to pull him away.
Now he was expecting her to scream at him, to slap him, but he wasn’t expecting the words she uttered next. Make hers look good? What she was talking about?
But before he could ask her, she did what he had expected she would do first when she dragged him out of his seat and lashed out at him. Her knee made contact with his body, but not in the place one would expect and he couldn’t express how glad he was for that. It took him just a fraction of second for him to understand what she was doing, she was thinking his act had been to make a façade to lure out the cannibal and was complying with it.
And now all he had left to do was to play along as well, it was time to play Bogart, and he fell to the floor pretending to be in far more pain than he actually was. He wasn’t quite the actor, but he hoped his performance was good enough for an amateur.
”Next time you get an urge ask the lady first."
Her next words confused him, but he couldn’t break his act to wonder about it right then. Slowly he pulled himself up, trying to keep what he hoped would look like a painful expression on his face and leaned at the bar before taking deep breaths and steadying himself.
Keeping the act, he shot a glare towards Dakota and shook his head. But it didn’t take long before an incredibly hot looking woman walked in causing his jaw to drop. While she did look like the woman of his dreams somehow, his instincts told him that it was unnatural. The woman probably had some spell that numbed the mind of men and made them see their deepest desires as they looked at her. And to Caleb, she was this mind blowing tall amazon with dark hair and blue eyes. The kind of woman that could easily break a man in two and still be sweet when she wanted to.
She moved to him with that innocent sweet look on her face and placed one hand over his own that was standing on top of the bar. At that moment, the instinct that was telling him that she was dangerous was immediately silenced and Caleb acted as if a love struck puppy with a stupid grin in his lips, devoid of all will, but instead overwhelmed with the desire to please and obey her.
When she tucked her hand in his and smiled before placing a kiss on his lips and whispering that she would take good care of him as she pulled him towards the back door, all that wolf was able to do was comply.... The cannibal witch

After retiring to a quiet corner of the bar, Dakota sat there drinking her OJ as she surveyed the bar and it’s patrons. A few eyes occasionally looked over in her direction but no one bothered her, they just left her alone to her drink, which suited Dakota just fine. A little while later she noticed a tall brunette casually approach Caleb, she was rather a striking woman, well dressed and Dakota wondered why she hadn’t noticed her before. Glancing around it was clear that the woman had also caught the attention of many of the men in the room.
The brunette approached Caleb and he looked more than eager to receive her attention, typical male, Dakota thought to herself, they were always ready and willing to fall at the feet of a pretty face who knew the right way to sashay their hips. Caleb’s kiss kept replaying on Dakota’s mind as she sat there watching him interact with the other woman. She considered for a moment how it might be nice if someone would kiss her like that for real, to actually want to kiss her…….just once. Pushing the thoughts from her mind, Dakota tried to concentrate on the hunt before Caleb ended up on the brunette’s menu.
Watching the pair closely she saw Caleb making a complete fool of himself as he fel all over the woman acting like an over eager puppy. Then Dakota’s eyes widened and the grip on her glass increased as she saw the brunette lean and kiss him seductively before whispering something in his ear. The next moment she began to pull him toward the back door and Caleb happily followed her. Dakota took a final swig of her juice and slammed the glass down, once the pair had disappeared out the back door into the alley, she jumped to her feet and quickly followed. Once out in the alley, Dakota stayed in the darkness and slipped behind the nearest dumpster and watched on in silence ready to strike when the need be.
