(Joint post by Curse and Jo) The next few hours passed in a rush in Curse's mind. He was still so shell shocked by everything that he dimly remembered holding Jo's hand and muttering a bunch of nonsense to her but the details were hazy At one point, he vaguely remembered an oxygen mask being shoved on HIS face but then the sounds of the first born baby's cries rent the air. Strong arms pushed him into a chair and then a blanketed bundle was shoved into his arms as the other infant made its appearance. Staring down into the wrinkled little face, Curse knew he was probably as ugly as any other newborn but to him.. He was the most beautiful thing on earth. Once both babies were stable and the doctors had checked Jo over and seen her settled comfortable, Curse was finally able to approach her side again. The nurses helped scoot the recliner up beside the bed and he was able to relax while holding a baby in one arm and Jo holding the other. Jo was pretty much in a rage of pain, fear and various other emotions all mixed up inside her. Everything seemed to run together. A long drawn out blur. She didn't know when he got there but Curse was there holding her hand and that calmed her somewhat. The emotions of his sudden reappearance at the house were fighting with her trying to focus and get through having these babies who were making there presence known in a big way right now. There was a lot of pain, a lot of pushing and Jo saw Curse pale and turn white as a ghost at some point. Eventually, almost as suddenly as the whirlwind had started it was calm again. Or at least reasonably so. Curse was sat in a comfortable chair next to her bed, he was holding their new born son and Jo was sitting up in the bed holding their daughter. More emotions continued to wash over her now. These were much happier things though. It was such a relief, the joy she felt. Something she hadn't felt in weeks, since the moment Curse had gotten that phone call that sent him on the ill fated mission things hadn't felt right. Now, she had her husband back (sure he was a little worse for wear but she didn't mind... he was alive and home is what mattered) and they had two beautiful new babies. She knew things were never going to be perfect in their lives, but this moment right now sure felt pretty damn close to perfect. Jo slid her hand across the bed and placed it on top of Curse's free hand gently. Looking over at her husband she smiled at him. Her eyes glistening with tears again, only this time they were tears of happiness. "We did it... We made it. Aren't they beautiful? They are just perfect." Jo was pretty sure they had a long road ahead of them. Curse's ordeal would have to be dealt with, they would need to talk. She knew he would need time to heal physically, mentally and emotionally. And taking care of two new borns on top of that was not going to be easy by any stretch. But, they were a real family now and she figured they would end up stronger for it.

Lexi paced the floor of the hospital as time dragged on. Once she was assured Jo was doing all right, the blond had placed a few phone calls and then waited until Ellen came flying into the maternity ward. When the older woman threw questions at her, Lex answered the best she could and then they sat down to wait. It was hours before the nurse came out to announce that the Jordans had a boy and girl each and then said they could step inside to visit for a few moments.
Allowing Ellen to go in first, she watched at the grandmother looked from Jo to Curse and then to the babies. She evidently didn't have a clue how to proceed so the young angel moved forward to the bed and gave Jo a gentle huge before examining the baby she held.
"Oh dear.... Yeah.. this one has trouble written all over her. She is going to give her daddy a heart attack when she hits her teens." she said with a smile for the new parents. "And I'm sure the boy will be some other fathers nightmare."
Winking at Jo to show she was teasing, Lexi stepped back so Ellen could have a chance to come forward. Moving to Curses side, she peeked at the boy and then nodded.
"You did good. Those babies are adorable. Now.... I need to be getting home to my own baby so... If you guys need anything... Just hollar, OK? I'll bring Ben and Sebastian over once you guys are settled at home and see what we can do to help out."
Giving Curse a hug, the blond pulled back and slipped from the room.

Ellen was almost frantic by the time she hit the maternity ward floor and saw Lexi. The blond meet her with a smile and calmly assured her that Jo was fine and then told her about Curse's miraculous appearance. The harried mother ran a hand through her hair and nodded when Lexi mentioned staying here in the waiting room until they were told they could go in.
After what seemed like a lifetime, a nurse approached them and told them that the proud parents had welcomed a boy and a girl into the world and were now ready to see visitors. Unsure how to act, Ellen followed Lexi into the room but as her gaze fell on the couple holding the babies, she was speachless. Jo looked rough but was beaming with happiness and her husband looked like hell but seemed to be content holding his offspring.
Moving forward, Lexi made her own greetings and then quietly excused herself to let the family have some alone time. Nodding her thanks to the woman, Ellen moved forward and kissed Jo's brow before looking at the daughter she held.
"Well.... She is gorgeous of course...." she said. "They are perfect."
Glancing to the man in the recliner, the older woman made her way to stand next to him and held out her hand.
"I'm Ellen Harvelle. Jo's mother. You must be Curse Jordan.... You don't know how glad I am to finally meet you but as soon as your back on your feet... I plan on kicking your ass... You have some explaining to do but for now.... These babies need all the love and attention they can get... and I'm to damned glad that your not dead that I"m willing to let it go for now."

JoJo looked up when the door opened and she saw Lexi walk in, followed closely by her own mother, Ellen. Taking a deep breath she smiled at the women. She knew that her mother was probably freaking out ten ways to Sunday, but it wasn't exactly the time to address that.
Lexi approached first as Ellen lagged behind. The older woman clearly a little taken off guard. That wouldn't last long Jo was sure. Smiling as Lexi came over to have a look at the babies Jo nodded as she spoke. "Yeah, they are amazing. Thank you Lexi... Thank you for everything." There was more to say to her friend, that would have to come later as well. Jo watched as the young woman exited the room. Leaving Jo and Curse alone with Ellen and the newborn twins. Jo sighed softly, just as she was about to make introductions her mother spoke up.
Jo gave her husband a compassionate look. Trying to convey the message of 'yep, that's my mom' and let him know that her bark was probably worse than her bite right now. Shaking her head she spoke up. "Mom, would you like to hold your granddaughter?" Giving her mother a look she nodded and held the tiny baby girl out for her mother to take. Jo then turned her attention back to her husband. Smiling at him softly. "I think we need to make some naming decisions here. What do you think? I know that Derek was involved in bringing you back. I was thinking maybe Jacob Derek would be a nice name. As for the girl... I'm undecided." Chuckling a bit she hadn't realized that in the last few week, with everything that had happened, she hadn't really thought about names that much. She had figured she had a few weeks left anyway. But, now they had to come up with something.

Trapping in the recliner, Curse could only smile at Lexi before she left and then eye his mother in law with trepidation. He's always wondered how this meeting was going to go but this was NOTHING like he expected. He was externally grateful though when she only lectured him and then turned to take his daughter from her daughter.
Sighing a bit, he leaned back and looked down into the face of his newborn son and gave a grateful prayer that he was here to see him. At that thought, a shudder racked his battered body as the memories of the last few weeks came back full force. Luckily, his wifes voice pulled him back before they sucked him under.
"I think we need to make some naming decisions here. What do you think? I know that Derek was involved in bringing you back. I was thinking maybe Jacob Derek would be a nice name. As for the girl... I'm undecided."
Looking up at her, Curse meet her gaze and the shadows lurking there were obvious to anyone who knew him well.
"I think Jacob Derek is great.... I kind of thought Tessa Sierra might work well for a girl... After my sister.....IF that is all right with you?"

Ellen let the parents work their way through names as she held her granddaughter and rocked her softly. Part of her couldnt believe she was actually a grandmother now but evidently she was. A soft smile spread over her face as she looked down into the tiny face and felt a flicker of love grow larger with every heartbeat.
Finally, when she couldn't avoid it any longer, Ellen looked back up and handed the baby back reluctantly to her mother. Crossing her arms over her chest, she looked back and forth between the couple and sighed.
"I don't know which of you looks worse. Jordan, what the hell happened to you? You've obviously been through hell and back so don't even bother lieing. Is there anything you need? Lexi said something about some meds in your bag? The doctors can take care of Jo but you look like you might be needing some TLC too."

JoJo gave her mother a warm smile as she handed the small bundle over. Then she scooted over toward the edge of the bed to be closer to where Curse was sitting. She bent down and put a soft kiss on the newborn boy that was in his arms.
A soft sigh escaped her lips as she saw the look in her husband's eyes. She knew he was happy but she could also see a tired haunted look behind them. When he spoke up about the babies' names she smiled at him. "I think naming her after your sister is a wonderful idea. Tessa Sierra, I think it's a beautiful name for our daughter." Jo reached out her hand to touch his bruised face carefully. Softly tracing over one of the red swollen cuts. Gently she kissed his lips before sitting back up in the bed. Her heart was aching for him she loved him so much. They hadn't even had a real chance to talk or just hold each other for very long before everything had happened and as happy as welcoming their new babies into the world was, they still needed that time to be together again. To be able to talk and let it sink in that Curse was alive, safe and back home.
Jo was pulled out of her thought by her mother. Ellen came back to the side of the bed and transfered the newly named Tessa Sierra back into her arms. Jo cuddled her new daughter and kissed the top of her head. She was fighting back tears again as everything welled up inside her. Hearing her mother's voice she looked up. Shaking her head and a slight smirk appearing on her lips as her mom slipped into the 'mothering' mode. Jo pointed over near the door. "Yeah... I think Lexi brought Curse's bag in with mine. It's over there. Thanks mom." While her mother went to check the bag Jo went back to snuggling her baby girl and holding Curse's hand. She looked over at her husband again and took a deep breath before she spoke. "Curse, baby... My mom is right. You look... like hell... As much as I hate even thinking about it... I don't want you to leave, but maybe my mom should take you home and let you get some proper rest... I should be fine here." Jo chewed on her lip and tried to blink back the tears again. She really didn't want him to go, it scared the crap out of her that she might not ever see him again. That maybe it was just an illusion. She knew that was irrational but she wasn't exactly thinking clearly at the moment. Her husband had just returned from the dead and she'd just given birth to twins all within hours of each other. All she really wanted was to be curled up in her husbands arms and that didn't look like it was going to be happening right now.
(not sure if you were setting it up for Curse to talk a little bit about what happened to him or not. So if you want him to that's cool. Other than that I'm not sure where else we want this thread to go. I figure we'd have to get them home soon and more stuff will come out there.)
