SamSam sat back in the chair and grinned when Sammie came to sit in his lap. Giving the dark haired woman a look and then glancing back at the dog. "Uh... Sure. I guess I'm up for a trip to the pet store. While we're at it, probably would be good to get some doggy shampoo too. I think it's been awhile since she's had a bath." Putting his arms around her he kissed her cheek. Noticing the dog as she took another trip around to investigate the apartment. Sam shook his head in wonder as he thought. The dog seemed kind of strange and was pretty big to be in an apartment but if Sammie was happy who was he to say anything. "Movies sound good for later. You mind if I take a quick shower before we go out? We could make a full morning out of the shopping. Pick up some lunch and come back and settle in for the afternoon. If that sounds good to you?" Sam gave her a smile and placed a kiss on her full lips. Lifting her up as he stood then setting her back on her feet. He then headed off to take a shower.

Sammie couldn't help but giggle at the look on Sam's face. He didn't look to excited about the whole pet store thing but she promised herself she'd make it fun for him. As he set her aside and headed for the shower, the pretty brunette busied herself cleaning up the rest of breakfast and then headed into the bedroom to put on something besides her sweat shorts and Sam's hoodie.
Keeping up a running monologue of nonsense for the dog's benefit, Sammie searched through her closet but finally decided on a pair of worn blue jeans and a tshirt. Slipping into them quickly, she glanced at where Sam's hoodie laid on the bed and then shook her head. With the turn of the season, it was cool outside so he would probably be needing it more than she.
Pulling out a navy sweatshirt from the closet that proclaimed her a "Blue's Sister, New Orleans" she slipped it over her head and headed back into the living room to wait.
Plopping on the couch, she picked up one of the test books laying on the coffee table and began to read. It was a play she'd practically memerized so she was able to half concentrate on it while talking to the dog. Over the top of the book, she watched the dog and then frowned.
"I wonder how long you've been on your own, girl.... You look kind of rough.... We'll have to get you some shots if your going to stay here... The landlord will probably want proof.... I'll have to make an appointment for next week...."

Cel half followed the woman...Sam was it? Wait...they were both Sam? Now that was just creepy. Wasn't there some sort of rule against that? There should have been.
regardless, the little shewolf let Sammie get dressed in peace and paced the living room. She kept glancing towards the journal's hiding place. The urge to just grab it and take off now was overwhelming. Sammie was busy and Sam was in the shower. She had at least a minute to grab the bag and the book and just take off. But she wasn't sure that minute would be enough and she wanted to be sure that it was enough. The last thing she needed was to get caught and reported. The wolves would be all over this apartment and right on her tail. No one here needed that, so she let the urge pass away.
Jumping slightly when Sammie entered the room, Cel licked her muzzle and moved out of the way. She wanted to scream stop when Sammie sat on the couch. She was so terrified that the human would find that book...She was going to have to take off soon, but if she couldn't leave today, she was going to have to move that book.
Shots? What? Cel's head immediately shot up again and she gave Sammie the most shocked look any human could have seen on a canine face. She also barked sharply to emphasize her point. yeah, wolves could bark, they just didn't often. Why did she have to say shots? The shewolf wasn't afraid of shots, but she wasn't so sure how happy she was about being treated completely like a dog. She sure as hell hoped that spaying wasn't the next step.

SamSam wrapped a towel around his waist and headed back into the bedroom. Pulled on some jeans, a t-shirt and saw that Sammie had left the hooded sweatshirt on the bed for him. Picking up the hoodie he slipped it on. He could smell the freshly showered scent of Sammie still on it. It brought a smile to his face. After he finished getting dressed he headed back out to the living room.
Raking a hand through his still damp hair he saw Sammie sitting on the couch reading a book. The dog seemed to be making herself at home, roaming around the apartment checking things out. Sam wondered vaguely what Sammie's plan was on how to get the dog to the store, they would probably need some kind of leash. Not that worried about it he held his hand out to take Sammie's. "I'm ready to go. Let's get out of here. We have shopping to do." When she took his hand he pulled her to her feet and gave her a quick kiss and whispered in her ear. "I like when you wear my sweatshirt... Makes it smell good." Giving her a grin he let go of her hand so that she could deal with the dog. When that was all taken care of he took her hand again and they set out of the apartment with the dog in tow.
Sammie had given Sam the car keys and let him drive them to the pet store. Following her directions it didn't take long to get there. Sam pulled into the parking lot, found a space and parked the car. Shutting down the engine he pushed open the door and unfolded his long legs out of the vehicle. He waited for Sammie and Sadie to get unloaded and they all three headed inside the store.
Sam stopped for a minute once inside the doors. Taking in the site of the interior of the store. Never having had a pet before he was a bit surprised at the vastness of the store. It was a huge place. They had different sections for all sorts of animals. "Wow... This is some kind of pet store. I was thinking, you know one of those tiny little shops that you see on TV." He spoke rather quietly as his eyes continued to scan the store. Having no idea what they needed to get or where they needed to go he let Sammie take the lead.

Celina was none too happy about having to wear any sort of leash and she was quickly learning that she was not going to like this whole collar idea. She was completely unused to the feeling of being tugged around and she found herself always at the end of the leash.
Just as she'd predicted, she had incredible trouble with the stairs. It was one of the most nerve wracking things she'd done in wolf form, including all the fighting and running for her life she did. More than once, she found herself tumbling down the stairs. Luckily, she had claws and human legs to catch herself on. Her progress was incredibly slow, but the stairs did eventually end.
Once down, she bounded ahead of Sammie, getting jerked back by the makeshift leash. Begrudgingly, she fell back a little. This was not going to be a fun day for her.
The next thing she knew, she was in a pet store, staring up at the high ceiling. She'd been in a pet store once, a long time ago. Her father had taken her there to show her all the fuzzy little animals and she'd gotten to pet a puppy. It turned out that he regretted that trip because she then began begging her parents for a dog. They never went back to a pet store again and she learned to shut up about the whole affair. She didn't remember the pet store being this big though. It was wide and empty and tall. The place had a bit of a warehouse feel. It was far from quaint.
All the smells, all of those wonderful and awkward scents in the air. The fish in the back, some messy little rodents in the middle, all the flea and normal shampoos off to her right...The BARF freezer around he corner. She wanted in that, but she doubted that the couple would get her that organic, raw food diet stuff. She wasn't even sure why she remembered about that. Regardless, she was pretty sure that the eggs and bacon were about to end. Maybe she'd drag them over to the freezer and break into in order to persuade them. She was pretty sure the words, "Bad dog!" were in her near future.
Someone was using the tag machine and grinding out a tag. She sighed, wondering if she was about to get one of those. She damn well did not want to announce her presence with that jingle jingle.
There were couple of dogs in the place and she was suddenly very self conscious about how she smelled and the fact that she was a wolf. Those dogs were not going to be too happy with her presence, of that she was pretty damn sure. At least one of them was a puppy. She could hear him yapping from somewhere off to the side.
Licking her lips, she looked up at the human couple and snuffed at them. She wanted to get this over with.
