Lexi had never been so glad to be home as she was when Max pulled up in front of their beautiful southern house and rushed around to help her and their newborn baby out of the Hummer. Giving him a soft smile, she allowed herself to be herded into the house amid Betsy's mothering and the her handsome husband's gentle prodding. Still very tired from the ordeal of the werewolf and then the birth, the new mother was grateful for the fussing and allowed herself to be pushed into a seat. Sebastian began to fuss and she took the infant from Max's arms to cuddle him close and gaze down at the beautiful baby. Betsy was properly impressed and declared how he looked just like his daddy causing Lexi to laugh and exchange a look with her hunter. The love she felt for her family was shining in her eyes as she simply nodded her agreement to the housekeeper and then allowed the older woman to pluck Sebastian away and rock him in a grandmotherly fashion.
"I do declare... This is the handsomest child I have ever seen. I think hes got a bit of the devil in him though.. I predict he'll lead you both on a merry chase. He'll be 10 times the ladies man his papa was and twice as beautiful as either parent."
Rolling her eyes a bit, Lexi leaned back against the cushions of the couch and shook her head.
"I'm sure your right, Betsy... But for now he's only a baby and I plan to enjoy every moment of it!"
Betsy humphed and then cast the young witch a look.
"Child... this baby isn't just ANY baby.... He's a powerful being in his own right... When he fulfills his destiny... Why, there won't be a being in heaven or hell who won't know his name..."
Startled, Lexi blinked at Betsy and then looked to Max in confusion. How on earth could the housekeeper know that? Betsy rocked the baby a bit more and then handed him back to his father before excusing herself. Bemused, the new mother stared after her for a moment before shaking her head in wonder.
"Did i hear her right?" she asked of her husband.

The little baby in his wife’s arms filled his heart with joy. Truth be told Max would never figure he would have end up married and with a baby. Sebastian Blair, his son. The young man couldn’t stop that silly proud father grin from making its way into his features.
The baby had his wife beautiful eyes and his dark hair, had a little bit of both of them and was perfect in all aspects in his eyes. It was with that grin that refused to fade that he guided Lexi to their home. It was good to be back and off course Betsy was going crazy with anticipation of having the newest Blair family member into the house. The housekeeper that always considered Max as her own son and welcomed Lexi as her daughter, was beside herself with the new life.
When the little one was placed in his arms, what was apparently impossible happened, Max’s grin widened. His attention was temporarily shifted from the baby tiny hands to Betsy and then to his gorgeous wife. Shaking his head he shrugged at her question.
“I guess you did Lexi but don’t mind her,” he said in a playful tone, “She never said I was going to marry a sexy goddess and I never knew her for being a prophet.”
Then momentarily, his grin faded as his brow furrowed and he gazed from the blonde to the baby and back with a worried expression in his face. “Honey, I think the baby needs a diaper change…would you…? I have to…uh…check with Nick about…work stuff.”

Bobby was about to come around the corner to give his own welcome to Lexi and the baby when he heard the words that changed his mind about showing his face just then.
While discretion might be the better part of valor, absence was the better part of diaper changing, so Bobby was going to make himself scarce for about five minutes. Turning tail Bobby made his way back to his room.

Arching a brow at her husband, Lexi crossed her arms and stared at him before shaking her head.
"No way, buster..... I've already changed that diaper a whole bunch of times. This one is all yours! Besides.... I think I need to take my medicine and take a shower."
Stiffling a yawn, the young mother got to her feet and gave him a tired smile.
"Don't worry... It will be good father and son bonding time. Everything you need is in the diaper bag or the nursery. I'm sure Betsy will help you if need be...."
Then, with the grace of the goddess her husband claimed her to be, the beautiful witch left the two for some male time.

Raising a brow as she spoke, Max gave his wife a terrified look. Father and son bonding time? She had to be joking, but as she moved away he discovered she wasn’t going to help him and he looked down at the baby as if it was a ticking bomb in his arms. Actually a bomb would be less scary to deal with.
“Betsy?” he tried calling the housekeeper, but there was no response. Looking around the room nervously he hoped someone else would come to his aid. “Bobby…?”
Then the new father turned towards his son, the little one looked so small in his hands, how bad it could be? Something that small couldn’t be that scary could it? Taking the baby to the nursery he settled him down and took the diaper bag. After a long deep breath, Max tried to calm himself. Fighting demons seemed a lot less scary right now.
“Ok Bastian, looks like it’s just you and me. Let’s see what kind of damage we have over here…”
How bad diaper changing could be after all? Surely a small baby couldn’t do much of a mess…but the dark haired hunter soon discovered that his son could actually make quite a mess. “This just isn’t…right…” he complained before moving to the task at hand. Somehow he could swear that little Sebastian was having a great time watching his daddy’s predicament.
A few minutes later, Max had accomplished to fulfill the task at hand. Off course it had been a lot easier than he expected, but it wouldn’t ever become one of his top ten pastimes.

A good twenty minutes passed before Lexi made her way guiltily back downstairs but she felt a bit more refreshed. A hot shower had gone a long way to soothing her tired muscles and the pain meds were kicking in so that she moved a bit easier. The wound on her leg throbbed and she was thankful that werewolves couldn't turn a person just but scratching them. The infection its dirty nails had left was bad enough! However, knowing her husband already felt bad enough, Lexi had made it her mission not to let him know how much it still hurt. He'd suffered enough and everything had turned out in the end so there really was no need for him to feel guilty about something he couldn't have changed.
Stopping outside the den, the beautiful witch was about to go inside when she heard the sound of Max talking to Sebastian. A soft smile spread over her face as she peeked in and then settled against the door frame to watch her beloved family. Max looked so damned handsome holding his infant son that Lexi felt a part of her melt all over again. Suddenly, another thought occured to her and she glanced down the hall before entering the room.
"Looks like you two are doing just fine.... I wonder where Bobby and Ben are? I thought for sure they would be down here to greet Sebastian." she said softly before settling on the couch next to her men.

There was a triumphant grin on his face, after all he had just managed to change a diaper and live through it. Well, as long as it was the greatest challenge he would face as a father for a while at least he was sure he could handle. Fatherhood still scared him senseless and he was worried that he wasn’t fit for it. Max’s father always seemed so certain about anything he had ever done and he worried that he lacked that conviction. He would have to call Nick and ask his older brother for some parenting advices…that sure was a talk he never figured he would have with his brother. He would have to call his family soon anyways, they were all eager to meet the new member of the Blair clan.
Listening to that familiar beloved voice, Max raised his head and turned to watch the blonde goddess with a huge grin on his lips. “Haven’t seen the pair yet. Have you checked the kitchen? Maybe Betsy has a batch of cookies and they are hiding in there.”
Giving a soft kiss to his wife, he gazed into the depths of her blue eyes and allowed his eyes to reveal his feelings for her. He genuinely felt as the luckiest man on earth for having her as his wife. Casting her one smile, he looked down to the baby in his arms and his smile grew. “We did good, didn’t we?”

This time as Bobby turned the corner he heard Lexi asking about him. “I'm here Brat.” He said as he joined the family in the living room. “Not sure where Ben is.”
Seeing Little Sebastian fully diapered and held lovingly in his father's arms, “We did good, didn’t we?” the older man smiled. It was kind of a wistful smile. Rarely did Bobby feel the lack of a family of his own: Dean, Sam and Lexi were usually enough. Even Jo was closer than some family's could boast, but that small tableau hit him deep. He'd never had this kind of moment with any child, and he never would.
Shaking off the bittersweet feelings of regret caused by paths not taken, Bobby asked with a jovial tone, “Mind if I hold the little guy? While you two congratulate each other on how handsome of a son you have. Wouldn't want him to get squashed in the kissin' that might follow.”

Smiling at Max, Lexi nodded.
"Yeah.. we did good."
Just then, Pops came in and the blond turned to smile at him. Her eyes took in the brief sadness that was there and she couldn't hardly stand to see it. It made her sad when she was so happy. When he asked to hold the baby, she immediately nodded and watched as he took Sebastian and held him close. Reaching out, she intertwined her fingers with her husbands and made a silent vow that Bobby would always know he was part of her family even if she wasn't the daughter of his blood.
"Pops..... Max and I were talking.....Well, you know how the life of a hunter goes.. You know how dangerous it can be and how life never has any garentees..... We'd like to ask you.. If anything should happen to us... If you would look after Sebastian and raise him properly so he knows how to defend himself and protect those he loves."

Bobby looked up from the sweet bundle in his arms when Lexi asked her question. The thought of losing Lexi cut into his chest, but he knew the chance was there even without her and Max being hunters.
“You mean I'd be his Godfather? His Legal Godfather? Not just a unofficial one?” Bobby couldn't explain even to himself what that little piece of paper would mean.

Ben stood behind the corner, trying to avoid everyone, but still wanting to hear what they were saying. Since the incident with the werewolf attacking, and him being forced to kill it, then watch it change back to it's true form, then the baby being born, he hadn't been handling things very well. He hadn't spoken a word since then.
He had pretty much passed out at the hospital, having had TOO MUCH drama for one night, and it sapping all the energy he had. The entire time, though, and every moment after that, all he could think about was the face of that man he'd shot, Jo running him over, and the new baby, Sebastian, which is why he was downstairs now.
Peaking around the corner at Max, Lexi, Bobby, and Bastian, he listened to what was being said.
“You mean I'd be his Godfather? His Legal Godfather? Not just a unofficial one?”
Listening to the conversation, Ben leaned back against the wall. He wasn't sure what to think of what he was hearing. With all that had happened recently, he didn't want to even think about losing someone else. They still had not found any sign of his mom, and every day Ben was worrying more and more that she was gone forever.
Thinking of how much had happened lately, he thought of Bastian, the new "little brother" he had gained. Thinking of what Lexi had just said, about how dangerous the hunter world was, and what had happened the night he had been born, Ben promised himself that from that point on, he was going to watch out for Bastian. He was going to protect him from EVERYTHING from that point on, he was going to make sure nothing ever happened to him.
Sighing deeply, he looked down at his feet, then turned the corner, walking slowly into the room with everyone else.
((OOC: Sorry it sucks....))

Gazing up as Bobby appeared in the room, Max raised a brow. Where was him when Bastian diaper needed changing? But all the dark haired hunter could do was smile when he asked to hold his son.
Bobby was part of the family, even if not blood related. He was like a father to Lexi, so for Max he was just that. Besides, he liked the man. He had been on their side when they needed and for him that was more important than anything.
Handling the baby over to the older hunter, he smiled back to his wife and placed an arm around her waist as she spoke. The pleased look on Bobby’s face when he was told he had been chosen to be Sebastian’s godfather was priceless and made Max smile realizing just how pleased he was.
“We couldn’t hope for anyone better to be our son’s godfather,” he told him, “It would mean a great deal for us.”
Giving a quick kiss to his wife, he then turned his attention away from her when he heard shy footsteps approaching. Max had been absorbed with his newborn son, but he hadn’t failed to notice Ben was unusually quiet. Lexi had told him what had happened when the werewolf attacked, but only now he was returning home with her from the hospital and noticing the affects of that night on Ben. He had to have a chat with him and try to cheer him up somehow.
Giving the young boy a smile, he motioned him to come closer and greet the baby who would be as a brother to him.

Lexi heard the emotion in her "Pops" voice and nodded when Max assured him that that had been exactly what they wanted.
"It would mean the world to us... For Sebastian and Ben both..."
Smiling as the other young boy came to join them, Lexi watch the by play between her handsome husband and their adopted child and felt her heart surge with love. These people in this very room where her whole world and ones she would go to the ends of the earth to protect. Heaven pity the poor fool who threatened any one of them.

Bobby motioned Ben to sit down beside him and share the baby with him.
”I think Ben and I can take care of this little guy. Don't you Ben?” he asked as he turned Sebastian over to his 'older brother'.
”But I'm telling you right now that if you die, I will find a way to haunt YOU for the rest of eternity.” the man warned teasingly, as a way of covering up how much he felt for this young woman.
”and you,” he added to Max, ”You leave me alone with these two.” he gestured to the two boys, ”and they may turn out like Sam and Dean. So I'd be careful about that.” It was an empty threat Max knew how Bobby felt about the Winchester brothers, but again he was covering his emotions.

Ben looked shyly around at everyone as he entered the room. It was something he had NEVER acted like. He wasn't shy, but after what had happened, he was still having a tough time dealing.
He wasn't really looking directly at anyone, but when he was Max smile, he moved closer to them, looking between Max and Lexi as he moved towards Bobby.
"It would mean the world to us... For Sebastian and Ben both..."
Looking over at Bobby, he watched the man motion for him to come over, and nodded, walking over to him. When Bobby placed the baby in his arms, Ben just looked down at him, smiling for the first time since the werewolf incident as he watched him.
”I think Ben and I can take care of this little guy. Don't you Ben?”
Ben just nodded his head, not taking his eyes off of Bastian.
"Always..."
Ben rocked Bastian lightly in his arms, his mind already playing out all the things he and the baby would do one day together.
”But I'm telling you right now that if you die, I will find a way to haunt YOU for the rest of eternity.”
Hearing them talk about dying, Ben looked up at them, then back down at Bastian. Bobby wasn't gonna have to worry about anyone dying in this family, he wasn't going to let them.
”and you,” he added to Max, ”You leave me alone with these two,” he gestured to Ben and Bastian, ”and they may turn out like Sam and Dean. So I'd be careful about that.”
Thinking about that, Ben smiled down at the baby in his arms, whispering quietly. "I call being Dean..."
